The latest update on Kurt Angle is that he has been medically cleared to return to the ring as a wrestler. However, it appears as if WWE is going to limit his in-ring work to pay-per-views and major television events in order to help prevent any further damage to his neck.
Angle will remain a regular on WWE television as the SmackDown! General Manager and will probably work house shows since Paul Heyman (the former SmackDown GM) worked a full time schedule.
