Bobby Heenan's PCW Appearance 3/20/04

  Prior to the main event of Pro Championship Wrestling's show in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, P. L. Myers offered to pass his award as manager of the year over to the man that he looked up to...Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
  
  Bobby Heenan received a very warm standing ovation. P. L. Myers asked Bobby to sign a copy of his new book for him. As Bobby reached over and was autographing the book. P. L Myers grabbed him in a side headlock and delivered a throat shot to Heenan.
  
  The shocked PCW crowd watched as Heenan was bent over selling the throat shot. Heenan was weezing and coughing and turning red. Meanwhile, P. L. Myers stood over Heenan, yelled at him, and tore his new book to shreds....1 page at a time...then 20 pages at a time. Heenan was finally escorted out of the ring by a couple of PCW security and workers.
  
  Heenan is a great actor, but did he really have to do this for an independent promotion? He was very believable, and the crowd was dead silent for the rest of the show. Maybe a future appearance will tell the full story.
