WWE Smackdown House Show Results from Newcastle, England 3/18/04

  WWE House Show Results from Newcastle, England
  Metro Radio Arena
  
  Show started at 7.30pm, Tony Chimel came out with referee Brian Hebner(i think), welcomed everyone for being there then fireworks are set off and first match was about to begin.
  
  Billy Kidman vs. Rhyno
  
  Mach starts off with crowd screaming Rhyno sucks, crowd settles down when match gets underway, both superstars trade fair share of blows, Billy Kidman had most of the match scouted. Billy Kidman went to top rope missed
  shooting star press, Rhyno gets to his feet and prepares for the gore runs misses hits shoulder into turnbuckle, Billy Kidman rolls Rhyno up for the 3 count.
  
  WINNER: Billy Kidman
  
  Blindfold Match: Nidia vs. Jamie Noble
  
  (Boring) Exact same occurances from WWE No Way Out, where also at the end Jamie Noble tkes mask off see's nidia on top rope throws her off rolls her up but unfortunately for Noble, Nidia rolls him over for the 1,2,3.
  
  WINNER: Nida
  
  Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly vs. Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas
  
  Great entertainment for the fans, most of the match Gunn & Holly had the upper hand. Holly did however pull off the famous dropkick on Charlie Haas then did pull off the Alabama Slam to Benjamin but The Worlds Greatest Tag Team soon gained some control of the match, over Billy Gunn, but when Holly was tagged in again Holly dominated and finally pinned Haas for the 3 count.
  
  WINNERS: Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly
  
  Orlando Jordan vs. Chuck Palumbo
  
  Really boring, never liked it one bit.
  
  WINNER: Chuck Palumbo
  
  Triple Threat Elimination Match For The WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Nunzio
  
  In turn all 3 superstars went to a corner and both Nunzio & Chavo were booed but Rey was getting cheers all throughout the match. Before Chavo got to the ring the whole crowd was cheering for "Eddie, Eddie". Match gets underway Nunzio only lasted bout 3 mins and was elminated, when pinned by Rey Mysterio, again full on entertainment by both Chavo & Rey hat goes out to them, both showed the UK fans real cruiserweight action however Rey Mysterio was eventually pinned by Chavo Guerrero but revenge was took by Rey Mysterio giving Guerrero the west coast pop and the 619, hen Nunzio came back to the ring and got the 619, Rey stayed and posed with with crowd for abit.
  
  WINNER: Chavo Guerrero (Sill Cruiserweight Champion)
  
  Paul Heyman comes out is booed constantly starts going on by telling the crowd to shut up, he gets various comments made bout him by people near me like Baldy and Pie Eater. Starts refering to what happened at Wrestlemania XX when John Cena won the US Title from Big Show. This however bring John Cena out gets one of the biggest pops of the night starts shooting Heyman down. Heyman tells Cena if he lays a hand on him the show would be cancelled (yeah, right), Heyman then points out to Cena that he will defend the US Title there in Newcastle, but wouldn't disclose his opponent, Cena says well why dont you (to Heyman) be my opponent and asks for a fight, all of a sudden The APA's music sounds the arena (with good reaction) Bradshaw takes the mike from John Cena and tell Paul Heyman that you wanna see a fight you gotta fight and Bradshaw hands John Cena a big heavy clothesline, Paul Heyman then tells Cena and your opponent is Bradshaw, bell rings.
  
  WWE United States Championship: John Cena vs. Bradshaw
  
  Bradshaw continues the assault from the last segment, Cena later fights back with the elbow and then hits the F-U on Bradshaw for the 3 count.
  
  WINNER: John Cena (Still US Champion)
  
  Show goes to intermission.
  
  WWE Tag Team Championship: Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Basham Brothers
  
  Scotty 2 Hotty brings the entertainment to Newcastle although it was action back and forth, the tag team champions leave Newcastle as victors. After match Rikishi leaves Scotty still in ring yells for Rikishi to come back into the ring as he soon does, they go out and grab a couple of kids from the front row get them back in the ring lights go out and they do their famous dance segment, what entertainment this was for the crowd this went on for about 10-15mins, both Rikishi & Scotty leave the ringside area.
  
  WINNERS: Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty (Still Tag Team Champions)
  
  Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie
  
  Your typical woman's match, switch slaps back and forth Torrie pulls off a move which anyone could've kicked out of for the 3 count.
  
  WINNER: Torrie Wilson
  
  Tony Chimel tells fans that the WWE Raw superstars return to the UK in May to Manchester & Birmingham and again thanks us all for being there.
  
  WWE Championship: Eddie Guerrero vs. Big Show
  
  Without doubt Eddie got the biggest pop of the night, both Guerrero & Show extended blow amongest one another with Eddie Guerrero coming out on top and with John Cena coming out and had a little rap with the crowd.
  
  WINNER: Eddie Guerrero (Still WWE Champion)
