WWE News: Ric Flair being forced to retire due to a neck injury?

  • It looks like bad news for fans of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. The WWE has decided to pull Flair off of several upcoming Raw-Brand house shows due to a neck injury. The injury is severe enough that it could force Flair to retire from active in-ring competition.

There is no word yet on if the neck injury occurred during a specific match recently or if it is the result of many wars in the ring over the course of Flair's long and distinguished career. Flair wasn't even expected to return to in-ring competition when he signed with the WWE in November of 2001, but "The Nature Boy" felt that he could still go and has been wrestling since the Royal Rumble in 2002.
