Chris Jericho’s injury, Jeff Hardy returning to WWE?, Goldberg appearance

• Chris Jericho’s knee injury at Raw was done to write him off of last night’s show because he did a gig with Fozzy in Omaha at the Ranch Bowl last night. Several reports have said that Jericho put together a very energetic performance that pumped up the crowd.
  
  
• There have been a lot of rumors floating around the internet that Jeff Hardy is near his return with WWE. Despite the word being out there, at this time there is not any truth to those rumors. While many feel that Hardy will one day return, it appears as if WWE has not contacted him concerning a return at this time.
  
  
• Bill Goldberg was in attendance at the Edmonton-Detroit NHL game last night that aired on Sportsnet west in Canada. Goldberg talked about his friendship with Brett Hull and getting the chance to drink out of the Stanley Cup.
