February 21, 2004
Hello everyone, and welcome to another Velocity Report. I want to give a shout out to my goodfriends Cameron and Tyler, who live in Lawrenceville,GA. They were recently kicked out of Collins Hill High School for a situation that was taken way out of proportion. They came to school smelling like weed, and were sent to the administrators office(locked in small, seperate rooms) to be interrogated for a few hours, all without the knowledge of thier parents(until the interrogations were over). Even though I don't agree with taking drugs, the fact remains that they only smelled like weed, and did not have any on school property. Tyler was a staight A student, and Cameron was going places, too. This was just a simple, innocent situation that should not have resulted in 2 young men getting expelled. I know that Cam and Tyler will only become stronger from this, and I hope that they can move on successfully. Oh, and if you're reading this Cam, MONKEY GORILLAR!!!!(an inside joke). Sorry for the personal shout out, as I almost forgot why we're here. Get Ready, Get Set, VELOCITY IS NEXT!!
A very touching, emotional video package of Eddie Guerrero's post match celebration from last Sunday's No Way Out is show. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW WWE CHAMPION, EDDIE GUERRERO!!!!
Rey Mysterio/Billy Kidman Vs. Jamie Noble/Nunzio
Kidman and Nunzio start off with Kidman going for a quick pin, Nunzio getting kicked in the face, and Rey getting tagged in. Kidman swings Nunzio around a few times, allowing Rey to hit a dropkick to Nunzio's face( I believe the move is called Montezuma's Revenge). Rey covers, but gets a 2 count. Both men trade some irish whips, until Rey jumps to the ropes, and grabs Nunzio's head with his legs. Rey attempts a headscissors takedown, but Nunzio drops him face first to get a 2 count. Noble is tagged in, and immediately starts working his ribs. Noble whips Rey into the ropes, plants him with a variation of the flapjack, and dropkicks him in the face for a 2 count. Noble sends Rey hard into the corner, but Rey gets back on the offensive with an AWESOME spinning hurricarana. Kidman gets the tag, and he enters the ring with a tope rope crossbody to Noble. He punches Nunzio, and gives Noble a headscissors takedown. He continues to clean house, and even goes for a pin after hitting Noble with a Kidman Valley Driver. Nunzio breaks up the cover, but is sent to the outside after recieving a HARD enziguiri from Kidman. Noble clotheslines Kidman to the outside, and then dives through the ropes and hits a suicide dive on Kidman. Rey goes to the tope rope and gives Noble a high crossbody to the outside. The action will return, right after this.
Commercial Break
We are back, and Kidman and Noble are in the ring. Kidman hits the BK Bomb, and goes for the Shooting Star Press, but Nunzio pulls him down arm first onto the ropes. Nunzio is tagged in, and takes Kidman down with a snapmare. He locks Kidman in a variation of the armbar, but Kidman gets out of it, hits a sunset flip, but gets a 2count. Nunzio grabs the injured arm of Kidman, and hits the springboard tornado armbreaker, goes for a cover, but Rey breaks it up. Nunzio gives
Kidman an unprotected knee drop, and tags in Noble. Noble works the arm, even wrenching it on the ropes. Noble traps Kidman in a hammerlock, but Noble lets go. He re-applies the move from a different position, but lets it go only to attack Rey. Nunzio is tagged in, and he takes Kidman down with a snapmare and a SWEET dropkick to the face. He goes for the cover, but only gets 2. Noble is tagged in, and traps Kidman in another variation of the hammerlock. Kidman finds a way to escape, and drops Noble face first with a flapjack. Kidman hits a WICKED dropkick on Noble, and finally tags in Rey. Rey cleans house with a springboard senton(teabag) and a russian leg sweep, but only got 2. Rey is sent to the ropes, and hits a standing Noble with a springboard moonsault into a reverse ddt!(an A.J. Styles move)He goes for the cover, but Nunzio breaks it up. Nunzio is dropkicke by Rey, and then given a 619! Rey goes for the west coast pop on Noble, but Noble catches Rey in mid-air, and levels him with a Tiger Bomb! Kidman breaks up the cover, and him and Noble battle. Noble goes to the top rope, but Kidman tosses Rey up to Noble , and Rey gives Noble a top rope hurricarana.(in the words of Joey Styles," OH MY GAWWWWWWD!") Rey goes for the cover, and gets the win.
Winners Via Pinfall: Rey Mysterio/Billy Kidman

We are back, and we are ready ( I think ) for the next match.
Rhyno Vs. Shannon Moore
Shannon starts with some punches, but Rhyno begins to use some armlocks. Both men trade said armlock, until Rhyno whips Shannon to the corner. Shannon leaps over Rhyno, does a backflip, and delivers a SWEET spinning heel kick for a 2 count. Shannon tries to work Rhyno's arm, but Rhyno just pushes him away. Rhyno whips Shannon to the ropes, but Shannon begins to work the arm again. Rhyno goes for a clothesline, but Shannon pulls him down, hair first. Shannon is hit HARD with a Rhyno-line, and is brutalized with punches and kicks. Rhyno goes for the cover, but Shannon kicks out. Rhyno chokes Shannon in the ropes, and sends him hard into the corner, but only gets a 2 count. Rhyno picks Shannon up in powerbomb position, and locks in a variation of the backbreaker. Shannon slips out of it, but is met with a knee to the gut by Rhyno. Rhyno charges after Shannon, but gets clocked with a leaping heel kick. Shannon gets the upperand with some punches and a flying forearm smash. He goes for the pin, but gets 2. Rhyno whips Shannon into the corner, but is countered with a boot to the face, and a top rope flipping neckbreaker. Shannon goes for the cover, but Rhyno kicks out. Rhyno LEVELS Shannon with a SICK spinbuster, and sets him up for the gore, and the win.

The WWE Sting of the Night: Brock Lesnar, on his knees, in the middle of the ring, begging for Mr.Mcmahon to give him a match with Golberg at Wrestlemania XX. This was from this past Thursday's Smackdown.
Back from the break, and the next match is...............next.
Sakoda Vs. Paul London
Both men start by trying to gain control of the other. London puts Sakoda in a headlock. Sakoda tries to get out of it, but London flips himself over Sakoda(with assistfrom the ropes) and kicks him in the butt. London takes Sakoda down with a headlock, and gets a few nearfalls. Sakoda breaks free by sending Lonon to the corner, but London leaps over Sakoda, and gives him a jumping heel kick for a 2 count. London is again sent to the corner, but kicks Sakoda in the face, goes to the top, and leaps over Sakoda and dropkicks him in the back. London charges for Sakoda, but is dropped face first on the turnbuckle. Sakoda charges and sends London to the outside with a knee strike. The ref starts the count, but London gets back in the ring at 7, with a little help from Sakoda, who gives him a suplex(London is on the ring apron) back into the ring. Sakoda goes for the cover, but gets 2. Sakoda traps London in a bearhug, but gets out. London is sent back first into the corner, and Sakoda goes for another cover, but gets 2. Sakoda delivers a backbreaker to London, and holds onto it in submission form. London knees Sakoda in the face to get out. Sakoda misses an elbow drop, and is leveled with a SWEET dropsault. London goes for a cover, but only gets 2. London punches Sakoda, and then delivers a HARD climb-up Enziguiri. London struggles to go to the top rope, and misses a BEAUTIFUL 450 splash. Sakoda takes advantage by giving London a nice pick-up spinebuster for the win.
Winner Via Pinfall: Sakoda
Demott's Turning Point: London going to the top and missing the 450, allowing Sakoda to take advantage.
Commercial Break
Back from the break, and the situation involving Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle from Smackdown is shown. Eddie was set to defend his newly won WWE Championship against the new Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero, with Chavo Sr. being the special ref. When it is discovered the Chavo Sr. was beaten up backstage, Paul Heyman makes Kurt Angle, the no.1 contender for the WWE Championship, the special ref. In the closing moments of the match, Eddie hits the frog splash and has the match won, but Kurt doesn't make the count. Instead, He visciously beats Eddie, making him bleed, and gives him an Angle slam. Rey Mysterio tries to stop this by attempting a top rope hurricarana, but Angle catches him in mid-air, and powerbombs him. He then military press slams Rey over the ring ropes to the outside, and continues to beat Eddie, while wearing a smile. These two willl meet at Wrestlemania XX for the WWE Championship.

The fans are pumped, as Scotty and Chuck start the match off. Chuck pushes Scotty away, and mocks him. Scotty puts a headlock on Chuck, and takes him down with a headscissors. Scotty then does a little moonwalk to the delight of the fans. Scotty gives Chuck some knife edge chops, but soon gets his clock cleaned with a right hand from Chuck. VIEW FROM THE SEAT
- I'm getting worried about HHH's in ring ability. Now, I don't wanna hear all the commotion that H has alot of backstage pull, and that he holds others back. I don't know if any of that is true, because I don't work backstage, nor do I even personally know HHH. What I wanna talk about is his ring ability. I've noticed that for over a year or so now, HHH's wrestling ability has slowly begun to deteriorate. I suppose all of the injuries that He's sustained has caused this to happen. Now, I admire HHH for working through all of these injuries, but I do believe that he deserves a vacation after Wrestlemania. I think that a vacation is what he needs: It could help him heal, He could come up with new ways to freshen up his character, and he can stop holding the world title. Nothing against HHH, but his last 2 title reigns haven't been as good as his previous runs. The problem isn't that they were too long, it was, for me, the repeating of trends. He would fued with someone, tell them they made a big mistake, have a match, win by either interference or disqualification(not all of the time, but more than half of the time), and continue to claim he is the greatest. He is still, to me, a top notch performer, I just hope he can find a way to lose the staleness, and heal from his injuries.
- I think that Chris Benoit has been doing pretty well on Raw as of late. His matches with Ric Flair and Shawn Micheals got my heart racing, and I will be rooting for him all the way at Wrestlemania. I think the triple threat match is actually a good idea. Wrestlemania is usually the culmination of the past year, and the 3 men in the match are connected in that way: Benoit's goal all year was to be the champ, and the HHH/HBK fued continued all year. This, to me, is a good way to settle all of their issues with one match. I am looking forward to it, as all men will give all
they got to give us a 5 star match(even HHH).
- I can't wait to order some Ring of Honor DVD's this coming week. Send me your ideas on what I should get.
- I plan on running for the General Manager of Velocity. Vote for me, and you will be super-funtime-happy!!
