WWE News: Update on the future of Goldberg after Wrestlemania 20

- It appears that Wrestlemania 20 is going to be the final WWE appearance by the former World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg. As of right now, WWE management has not approached Goldberg with a new contract, and have only gone so far as to ask Goldberg if he would like to make a few future appearances for the company, most likely for WWE's upcoming tour of Japan. However, these talks have gone nowhere since many feel that the relationship between Goldberg & the WWE is very strained at this point and it doesn't look like Goldberg will be involved with the company once Wrestlemania is concluded.
Also, it doesn't look like we'll be seeing Goldberg on WWE TV in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania either. You would think that the WWE would want to have Goldberg on the shows so he can help build up the heat and story between himself & Brock Lesnar for Wrestlemania. However, at this point, Goldberg is currently off shooting the new movie "Santa's Slay" and hasn't even been asked to tape a few vignettes to help build up the feud between himself & Lesnar before the big show at Madison Square Garden.
