British Championship Wrestling will roll into Scotland next weekend for two nights of grappling action which those in attendance will not forget anytime soon.

On Friday 27 February the BCW roster will explode into the Ballerup Hall in East Kilbride. This event is entitled "Night Of The Fan" as the contenders
for each of the BCW Championship's has been decided via fans voting on the promotion's website for whom they want to take on the champion. This has resulted in matches such as "Thee" Drew Galloway - with scheming manager Charles Boddington by his side - taking on reigning BCW Heavyweight Champion Stevie Knight, and Allan "The Terminator" Grogan challenging BCW Cruiserweight Champion - London, Arizona's very own - Tex Benedict. The evening will also see a retirement match between BCW owner The
Highlander, and the FWA's Head Trainer Justin Richards - with the stipulation that if The Highlander loses he must hand over BCW to FWA.

The following night the BCW roster will explode into action in the Tweedie Hall, Linwood. On this night the stars of BCW will take part in a tournament to decide the inaugural "King Of BCW". Wrestlers confirmed to take part
in the tournament at the present time include Stevie Knight, "Thee" Drew Galloway, "The Guv'nor" Carl Conroy, Stu Natt, and Tex Benedict.

Going on past BCW events these shows are not to be missed, and will make for an evening of unparalleled entertainment. Both shows start at 7.30pm with tickets priced £10 each, and family packages (2 adults + 2 children) are priced at £25.

Last night I attended the "Lord Finesse Birthday Party" at SOBs in NYC with Lord Finesse, Fat Joe, Diamond D, Showbiz & AG, Cormega, X-Ecutioners, Jazzy Jeff & Red Alert. The concert was sponsored by YJ Stinger, I believe......
I was hanging out, enjoying a beer, and "enjoying" one of the opening acts, when we had a special guest on stage, the one and only John Cena.

John got on the mic and proclaimed that "all the real hip hoppers are in the building right now....." and that he would do his best to represent "real hip hop on Smackdown and in the WWE". He was joined on stage by Freddie Foxxx (an MC from the Gang Starr crew) who said (paraphrasing, but it is very close to this) "This is the only real hip hopper in the WWE. He's got on the throwbacks. He's got the baggy jeans. You dont see him wearing any faggot tights..... This is how far hip hop has come, white men in wrestling doing freestyles....."

I think Jon didnt know what to make of that comment......... Left the stage a few moments later after Freddie Foxxx's set began.
