Tammy "Sunny" Sytch retiring from wrestling

• On a message board run by USA Pro Wrestling, Tammy Sytch, better known to all wrestling fans as Sunny, wrote a post to inform everyone that she was leaving the wrestling business for good. Here is what she wrote:
  
  I FORGOT TO MENTION, I AM RETIRING THIS YEAR. I'TS (sic) ALMOST 14 YEARS IN THIS BIZ, IT'S NOT FUN OR WORTH THE AGGRIVATION (sic) ANYMORE. I HAVE A FEW MORE SHOWS AND TWO OVERSEAS TOURS BOOKED, AND THEN I AM BECOMING A FLIGHT ATTENDANT. MY LEG HASN'T FULLY RECOVERD (sic) FROM A YEAR AGO DECEMBER 5TH---I TORE MY RIGHT QUADRICEP MUSCLE IN TEXAS IN A MATCH, AND I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TRAIN CORRECTLY FOR A YEAR NOW. SO, YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT MY CURRENT PHYSICAL CONDITION, BUT I AM INJURED AND I REALLY DON'T GIVE A S*** ABOUT OPINIONS. IF YOU DON'T APPRECIATE MY WORK AND WHAT I'VE DONE FOR THIS BIZ, THEN, GET UP AND GO TO THE BATHROOM DURING MY MATCHES. I REALLY WON'T MISS THIS STUFF BECAUSE IT BASICALLY IS A CRUEL AND DEMEANING BUSINESS. IT DID A LOT FOR ME AND CC, BUT I DON'T HAVE THE PASSION FOR IT ANY MORE. SO, MAYBE I CAN SERVE YOU ALL A DRINK AND PRETZELS ON CONTINENTAL AIRLINES!! TA TA FOR NOW--TAM

  Tammy started her career on the independent scene, and got her first real work as the manager of her real life boyfriend Chris Candido in Smoky Mountain Wrestling in 1993. From there, both Stych & Candido were brought up to the WWE as Skip & Sunny of The Bodydonnas. Once in the WWE, Sunny became one of the most popular Divas of all time, with only Sable giving her a true run for her money at the time. She managed many tag teams to the WWE Tag Team Championship, including The Bodydonnas and The Smoking Gunns. She left the company in 1998 after managing The Legion of Doom 2000 for a few months. After the WWE, she went to work full-time in ECW, once again managing her real life boyfriend Chris Candido. During her ECW run, Stych was battling various personal demons, including a substance abuse problem. Tammy & Candido were released from ECW in 1999, and returned to the scene with a brief stint in WCW during their “New Blood” storyline. Since she left WCW, Tammy has been working a few independent dates here and there, and was part of the whole “Wrestling Vixxxens” website, run by Missy Hyatt, where she posed nude.
