- John Cena tweaked his MCL in one of his knees when he was eliminated in the Royal Rumble last Sunday night. The severity of the injury is still unknown, although Cena did signal for help after he was eliminated from the match. He was helped to the back as quickly as possibly and was diagnosed with a minor MCL injury. He did not wrestle the following night’s house show in Reading, PA, but did take part in an angle with Paul Heyman.
- Gail Kim has still not received medical clearance to return to the ring from her broken collarbone, however, she is expected back very soon.
- Christopher Nowinski remains on the WWE inactive list due to his concussion syndrome. It has been reported several times that Nowinski continues to have debilitation headaches, although they are starting to improve in the past month or so. As things currently stand, there is not a sense that he will retire from wrestling; however, there is fear that might be the case.
- For those who did not hear, Randy Orton got cut hardway on the January 12th edition of RAW. He received six stitches to close his cut.
