Chicago Bears unhappy with Brian Urlacher's NWA-TNA appearance

- It appears that the Chicago Bears were quite unhappy with Brian Urlacher's appearance on Wendnesday's NWA-TNA PPV. The reason for this is because Urlacher has a clause in his contract with the Bears, which prohibits any activity that could expose him to significant personal injury. While pro-wrestling isn't specifically mentioned in his's contract, the Bears do not want to lose Urlacher thanks to a wrestling-related injury, since it would rob the Bears of their prized linebacker.
When interviewed about Urlacher's appearance in the NWA-TNA, Jerry Angelo, who is the general manager for the Bears, had this to say:
"Contractually, he can't get himself in those types of situations. That's not something we're going to condone. We're not going to make a big deal of it. We understand who he is, and he needs to understand who he is."
If Urlacher continues to show up on NWA-TNA broadcasts, he could face legal action by the Bears and the NFL. We'll keep you updated on this story as more information is released.
