WWE superstars in good mood at Raw, Update on Mick Foley's "coward" angle, more

  • The mood backstage at Raw last night was said to be good, thanks in part to the few weeks off that the superstars were able to enjoy over the holidays. Many were in very high spirits and were glad that, after dealing with the normal but brutal travel schedule that all the WWE superstars have to endure, they were able to recharge their batteries for a few weeks.

  • An interesting note about the whole "Mick Foley walkout on Raw" storyline was that Mick was the one who came up with the idea in the first place. While the angle is not getting over with the people as well as Foley would have liked, this "Foley is a coward" storyline could be a version of his "anti-hardcore" angle that he used back in ECW where he would enrage the fans by not doing anything hardcore because he felt that "the fans didn’t appreciate what he put his body through". Foley will most likely be involved in some form or another with Wrestlemania so I would expect to see his return to Raw sometime after the Royal Rumble.

  • "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels has been sitting in on a few of the creative meetings at Raw in the last few weeks. He was invited to sit in by WWE management, who respect his veteran position in the locker room and would like to hear some of his ideas.
