Happy Holiday's everybody! I hope everyone had a good (insert holiday), cause we are ready for Velocity! Because of the special Christmas Trip to Iraq, there will be no Velocity matches tonight. However, they will show highlights fom this past Thursday's Smackdown. I will only report the special Velocity segments. Everything else can be found in the Smackdown Report.

The WWE Slam of the Week: The APA saluting the troops, and the victory over The World's Greatest Tag Team after a Clothesline from Hell to Charlie Haas.

The Boot of the Week: Rikishi giving a stinkface to Rhyno, then dancing with a couple of soldiers

The show from Baghdad was very cool and very different. I was so happy that the WWE performed for the troops. If anyone deserves to relax, it's them. God bless those men and women.

Now, since tonights Velocity was short, I'm going to give you my 2003 awards, and my Wrestlemania 20 card. First, the awards.

Match of the Year: Kurt Angle Vs. Brock Lesnar series WWE Title

All 3 of their matches ( Wrestlemania, Summerslam, and the Ironman Match ) were awesome. They had everything you want in a match: Athletisism, Drama, Suspense, Nearfalls, etc. I couldn't decide which one would take the award, so I chose all 3
    Honorable Mentions:
    1. Raven Vs. Shane Douglas Hair Vs. Hair
    2. Team Bischoff Vs. Team Austin
    3. Triple X Vs. AMW Steel Cage NWA tag title
    4. Chris Benoit Vs. Brock Lesnar WWE Title
    5. Triple H vs. Booker T World Title Special Ref: HBK
    6. The World's Greatest Tag Team Vs. Bily Kidman/Rey Mysterio series WWE Tag Title
    7. Y2J Vs. HBK series
    8. Chris Benoit Vs. Brock Lesnar WWE Title ( Royal Rumble)
    9. Brock Lesnar Vs. Rey Mysterio
    10. Eddie Guerrero/Tajiri Vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team WWE Tag Title Ladder Match

Wrestler of the Year: Shawn Micheals
I always hoped, in the back of my mind, that HBK would return. I was happy to see him return last year, but I didn't think it would last. Fortunately, I was wrong. He has proven that not only can he still wrestle, but wrestle as well as he used too. Almost every match he was in this year has been very good. I hope he wins the World Title again, cause if anyone Raw could carry the ball, it's him.

    Honorable Mentions:
    1. Kurt Angle
    2. Brock Lesnar
    3. A.J. Styles
    4. Samoa Joe
    5. Eddie Guerrero
    6. Chris Benoit
    7. Raven
    8. Triple H
    9. Rey Mysterio
    10. Goldberg

Tag Team of the Year: Los Guerreros
These two started the year as tag champs, and ended it as top contenders. Except for a couple of months, Los Guerreros were always in line for a Tag title shot. Their matches included a great mix of lucha-libre and technical wrestling. I'm not sure where this Chavo/Eddie situation is going, but hopefully it will be interesting.

    Honorable Mentions:
    1. Spanky/Paul London
    2. Triple X
    3. America's Most Wanted ( AMW )
    4. Dudley Boys
    5. The World's Greatest Tag Team
    6. A.J. Styles/Amazing Red

WWE PPV of the Year: Wrestlemania XIX
Every match on the ppv, in my opinion, was very good. The WWE tries to top the previous year's Wrestlemania, and they did it. Well worth the money.

    Honorable Mentions:
    1. Survivor Series
    2. No Way Out

Finishing Move of the Year: F-5
No doubt about it, this move finished more matches than any other this year ( I think ). It is a very powerfull move, done by a very powerfull man, Brock Lesnar. Only few have kicked out of it, and I don't think that list will grow any time soon.

    Honorable Mentions:
    1. Asai DDT ( Ultimo Dragon )
    2. Jackhasmmer ( Goldberg )
    3. 619 ( Rey Mysterio )
    4. Brock Lock ( Brock Lesnar )
    5. Blackhole Slam ( Abyss )
    6. Enziguiri into a Flatliner ( Spanky/Paul London )

That's it for my 2003 Awards. I had a few more categories, but they were'nt that big. Now, for my Fantasy Wrestlemania XX card.

    Wrestlemania XX:
    1. Casket Match - Undertaker Vs. Kane
    2. The Rock/Mick Foley Vs. Triple H/Ric Flair
    3. WWE Championship - Kurt Angle Vs. Chris Benoit - Special Ref: Bret Hart
    4. World Heavyweight Championship - Shawn Micheals (c) Vs. Steve Austin
    5. Mixed Tag - Chris Jericho/Trish Stratus Vs. Matt Hardy/Lita
    6. Raw Vs. Smackdown - Goldberg/Booker T Vs. Matt Morgan/Big Show
    7. Special Challenge - Brock Lesnar Vs. Rey Mysterio
    8. WWE Intercontinental Championship Single Elimination Gauntlet Match - Randy Orton (c) Vs. RVD Vs. Hurricane Vs. Rico
    9. WWE U.S. Championship Triple Ladder Match - John Cena (c) Vs. Eddie Guerrero Vs. Chavo Guerrero
    10. WWE Tag Team Championship 2 out of 3 falls - The World's Greatest Tag Team (c) Vs. Spanky/Paul London
    11. WWE Cruiserweight Championship - Tajiri (c) Vs. Ultimo Dragon
    12. Raw Vs. Smackdown Battle Royal.Final 2 men will fight one on one. Winner gets to make their own match
    13. World Tag Team Championship - Cade/Jindrak Vs. Val Venis/Lance Storm
    14. Womens Championship - Molly Holly (c) Vs. Victoria

Let me explain myself on some of these matches:

WWE Championship - I'm not sure who should be the champ going in or out, this is just a cool match for me to see. The main event, by the way.

Mixed Tag - I think that Trish will end up with Jericho, and Lita will turn heel and join Matt Hardy's " Mattitude " Faction

Special Challenge - The epitome of a heavyweight vs. the epitome of a cruiserweight. Awesome

Triple Ladder - Chavo will turn on Eddie before Mania, and will try and prove he is better than Eddie. Cena should be accompanied by a rapper, like 50 Cent, or something.

Battle Royal - The returning Edge and Christian should be the final 2, and Edge should win. WWE title match is made for the next smackdown ppv, giving plenty of time to hype.

World Tag/ Womens - These 2 don't have to be on the card, maybe Heat

This is just my idea on Wrestlemania XX. I think it's pretty cool. Some of it might happen, some might not. But with proper buildup , this card could definetly work. If you have any thoughts on my year end awards or my Fantasy Wrestlemania XX card, email it to me at Jaba4017@aol.com

In the Subject, please type " Wrestling ". I get alot of junk mail. Thanx for reading, and I'll be back next week for the return of Velocity!
