  • Thanks to Italian Phenom for sending this in:

It seems that BSkyB have been in negotiations with the WWE in regards to drawing up a new contract, which would pick up the remaining 4 WWE PPV's that are currently not part of the Sky package.

Those PPV's would be starting with next month's Royal Rumble, followed by Vengeance, No Mercy and Armageddon, all in time for 2004. BSkyB also state that none of the current programming ie. Raw, Smackdown, or the current PPV's that are shown, will not be affected.

The previous agreement that existed between the WWE and BSkyB was that the 4 remaining PPV's were shown on a Pay-Per-View channel available on Sky Box Office. The contract for this expired earlier this year, and talks have been going on for quite a number of months, amid the huge wave of anger from the UK fans, the talks failed to materialise. Consequently, Armageddon was not shown on Sky at all.

An announcement is due if any more news develops.
