Nick Dinsmore gets two week tryout, Rikishi's mom out of the hospital

Well-respected Ohio Valley Wrestling competitor Nick Dinsmore had the opportunity to wrestle on a handful of RAW live events over the past few weeks. His immediate future with WWE is unclear, but those who know him say that he’s ready to make a contribution whenever he’s given the chance.
“Nick is a highly skilled wrestler,” said Danny Basham, another veteran of OVW, which is WWE’s developmental territory in Louisville, Ky. “He knows his craft. He’s the best worker we’ve got in Louisville. He’s taught me a lot of what I know. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. He’s way overdue to come up here. He’s been ready for a while.”

- Rikishi’s mom at home after successful transplant
Rikishi and his family got an early Christmas present this year: His mom, Elevera Anoai Fatu, returned home from the hospital last week and is recovering after a bone-marrow transplant to help clear her system of multiple myeloma cancer.
“After nine months (of battling cancer) she’s doing fine,” Rikishi said. “She’s back home, and it couldn’t be at a better time – the holidays.”
