• Old friends visit at Tampa RAW
  TAMPA, Fla – Dec. 15, 2003 -- Several faces familiar to longtime wrestling fans were on hand tonight. That is often the case when WWE visits Tampa because so many wrestlers, past and present, live in the area.
  
  Tonight, Mike Barton (aka Bart Gunn), Dennis Knight (Mideon), Norman Smiley and Brian Knobbs of the Nasty Boys were among those on hand – some just to visit, others to take part in tryout matches. Barton and Knight got in the ring for matches that took place before the RAW cameras started rolling.

• Orton, Batista enjoy career night
  TAMPA, Fla. – Dec. 15, 2003 – Neither Randy Orton nor Batista said he could sleep last night.
  
  Both Evolution members lay awake practically all night, replaying their Armageddon matches in their heads, over and over, the adrenaline still flowing after a career night for both men.
  
  “Even though I found faults in my performance,” Batista said, referring to his match with Shawn Michaels, “last night was definitely the highlight of my career.

• Dupree turns the Big 2-0
  TAMPA, Fla. – Dec. 15, 2003 – Rene Dupree of La Resistance is celebrating his 20th birthday today.
  
  “I feel old, man,” joked Dupree, the youngest man on the roster, who became the youngest Superstar ever to hold a WWE title when he and Sylvain Grenier captured the World Tag Team Championship on June 15.
  
  Dupree is in the midst of his rookie year in WWE; he made his debut last April in Boston. Even though he was just a teenager when he debuted, he’s enjoyed quite a successful rookie campaign, riling up crowds with his anti-American sentiments, getting involved in some high-profile rivalries.
