Current WWE Intercontinental Champion, Rob Van Dam was a guest of Joltin' Joe's recently, in which he discussed many matters regarding his status with the WWE. Here are some highlights:
RVD was asked how his wife was doing after she was involved in an accident. He responded by saying that she's doing very well, but their lifes have changed very much so since it happened in 1999. He feels that it helped to build a stronger relationship between the two.
RVD commented on how he feels both ECW and WWE are very different in regards to both promotion's sets of fans. He feels the ECW fans were 'uncontrollable', with beer cans always being thrown around, and fights breaking out in the crowd. The WWE have more control over their fans, and that not having such 'hardcore' matches, probably helps that cause.
In regards to the ongoing saga that is RVD's contract talks, he addresses the rumors by stating that he is very optimistic and plans to stay with the WWE for a few more years if possible. The negotiations that are currently taking place between both parties are actually running smoothly.
