    Richmond County-Augusta Civic Center
    Smackdown Brand House Show
    Augusta, Georgia

The good ol Civic center was nowhere even half full 10 minutes before the show started, and that was a major surprise to me considering how hard it was to cop seats to WWE events in the past. Guess I can't help but believe that attendance drop now that I've seen it for myself. Crowd was ultra hot though. There were these tight metal lighst attached to the ring posts to put more light on the ring, great effect.

Scotty 2 Hotty & Rikishi vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team

Lots of love for S2H and the Big Kish against the World's Greatest Tag Team. Plenty of comedy spots like stinkface teasing and Benjamin trying to play Hercules and lift Rikishi, to no avail sadly. Finish came with the W-O-R-M followed by a superkick by Rikishi on Benjamin. After that, they brougth a kid into the ring ro dance with them to soem great crowd heat...the kid was even grinding with Kish! Fun match. I caught Benjamin smile at me when I yelled out he was "Still the greatest black man in the biz," which made me fell pretty good. Heels need love too :p
    Winners: S2H & Rikishi

Matt Cappotelli & John Hennigan vs. Sean O'Haire & Horshu

Decent reaction for Horshu and and SEAN(he deserves all caps, trust.). Matt and John got a surprisingly warm reaction, many remember the two from TE2....they were rocking some old school orange and black ripped up tights....which wasn't the strongest of fashion statements, but I'm no Rico. Matt played face in peril most of the match. Horshu was your usual HOSS~! while Sean was his usual smooth self, the crowd really into his high impact offense. John has star written all over him, busting out nice moves like that flip dropkick and a headscissors into reverse DDT. Horshu however, takes the win with a sideslam type move.
    Winners: Sean O'Haire & Horshu

    Billy Kidman vs. Rhyno

Great reception for Kidman, who's looked quite hype for saying it was a house show. Rhyno was his usual mean ass self. Rhyno took the mic before the match started and made sure to let out a good "Augusta SUCKS!" for some heel heat, but scattered fans showed him love still. Back and forth match highlighted by various teases of the SSP and Gore...Billy Kidman takes it with a rollup. Man, Rhyno must be in the doghouse or somethin. He got his revenge with a GORE~! after match though
    Winner:Billy Kidman

Spanky, Paul London, & Orlando Jordan vs. The FBI

FBI with some great heel heat and fans really dug the running entrance by the trio of Jordan, London, and Spanky; followed by some silly dancing by Spanky and London in-ring, Orlando looking embarrassed with the two.. Spanky was well over in the match and London won the crowd over with his impressive ring work, I only got a taste of what he was capable of, but I'm feeling London already. Solid, fun match, with FBI pulling out the win with a backbreaker/legdrop combo by Stamboli & Palumbo. They should team Spanky, London, & Jordan on screen, I think they'd get over very well.
    Winerrs: The FBI

Crusierweight Title Match-Ultimo vs. Tajiri(c) vs. Jaime Noble

Great reception for Ultimo and I'm honored to say he shook hands with me on the way down and back, in turn I thanked him with " domo arigato"...his smile was priceless. I also made sure to bow to Tajiri, who returned that show of respect in kind even though he drew solid heel heat for reals :p Nice, tight little match up only hampered by very few highspots and the third man out usually taking a breather on the floor as the other two went at it. NICE spot between Ultimo and Tajiri where they both went for a spinkick and hit one another. Tajiri won with a big kick to Noble...sad that Ultimo isn't on SD!, where his crunkness counts for something.
    Winner and STILL Champ: Tajiri

    Rey Mysterio vs John Cena

Heavy love/hate reaction for the mast of "Thug-a-nomics" here in the A-U-G, I showed love to him however. Great rap where he ripped on the Masters, the Georgia Bulldogs, and our Greenjackets :p Rey came out extra hyped and with a great reaction to do battle with Cena. Interesting styles mix, but it worked for the most part I'd say, funny spot where Cena got whipped into the ropes but kept running and running them even when Rey just sat back in the corner and chilled, waiting for Cena to tire himself out. He tried to walk out mid-match, but the ref count had him come back in to continue a pretty nice bout. Finish looked to be a Cena F-U, but Rey caught a rollup out of it for the victory. Cena of course, looked confused as hell after the fact.
    Winner: Rey Mysterio

WWE Tag Title Match-Los Guerreros vs. The Basham Brothers(c) w/ Shaniqua

Los G's getting a great face reaction with the crowd, whereas the Basham's got their share of boss, but SHANIQUA seemed to be getting the most heat. Interesting note as the security guard told me Brock had tried to mack on Shaniqua in the back....Brock with JUNGLE FEVER?! Muy interesante playa. SLOW PACED TO START, I swear the worked headlocks and chinlocks for minutes on end before it picked up. Shaniqua attacked Chavo mid-match with a NICE big boot, which prompted chants of "TAG SHANIQUA" to start. Finish came when Eddie got caught off guard with Shaniqua, leading to Doug Basham finishing with a fam-ass-er/front legdrop type move for the pin. Chavo got pissed at Eddie for losing then left abruptly, noticeably upset and yelling at fans. Me and Chavo got into it....

He called me a lankey, skinny bastard, so I fired back that he needed to OXYcute those black pimples on his neck(come on...I know it's not just me who noticed.)

He then fired back on me with an Urkel crack, but I hit him with some receding hairline jokes....I'd say that verbal confrontation was a draw. Eddie left to great face heat for an incredible effort.
Winners and STILL Champs: The Basham Brothers
Winner of the Verbal Fight: Draw

Bikini Contest-Torrie vs. Dawn Marie vs. Sable w/ FUNAKI~! as guest MC

Funaki came out to a nice pope and presented the three contestants to us...all three were looking HELLA FINE and everything was looking oh so good live, words can't do the three justice. Dawn Marie won the crowd over with her stripper-esque posing and popping, even giving Funaki a lil tease. The crowd was having NONE of that cutsey posing stuff Torrie likes to do. They couldn't fight the reaction for Dawn, even guys who didn't catch her name chanted for her as "NUMBER 2" so she took home the victory...well deserved too. Can't wait to develop those pics :p Cat-fight after with Chimell getting rolled on, to his delight.
    Winner:Dawn Marie
The REAL Winners: All the straight male, lesbian, and bi-sexual fans :)

Main Event-WWE Championship-Brock Lesnar vs, Chris Benoit

LOTS of GA love for Benoit and a good heel reaction for Lesnar, with a cocktail of cheers for the monster as well. Benoit got the mic before the match started and wanted to "Prove Brock was a bitch and make him tap." Brock in turn decided to try to walk away, but Benoit was having none of it and fought him back into the ring. It was in this match that I really noticed the WWE's new "Overhead Suplex Ban"....Palumbo and Brock now do their respective B2B's to the side....I'll miss the old ways. You got it all with this match...German combos, that weird mucle buster Brock does now, chops, the works. GREAT EFFORT here and these guys HAVE to fued...ending came when Benoit had the crossface while the ref was out, Brock was tapping, but A-Train ran in and hit the Derailer on Benoit, leaving him helpless for a Brock pin. 1..2....BUT BENOIT KICKED OUT, huge pop for that.

    Lesnar then hit the F-5....1...2

BENOIT KICKED THE FRICK OUT, man it was markout city here. Benoit made a small comeback, but another F-5 later and he was forced to succumb. GREAT MATCH, this needs to be on TV.
Winner and STILL Champ: Brock Lesnar

Other Highlight: A fake Hogan look alike running about, even ripping off his shirt to some crowd cheers.

I saw and photographed none other then DEAN FRICKIN MALENKO my boys....man that had me marking.

The T-shirt bazooka malfunctioned big time, so they hand tossed shirts.

One of the security guards introed out of the lockerroom while Los G's were coming out, holding his finger in the air like he was the main event while the spotlight was on him....oh so funny.

    Biggest Pops
    1.Benoit
    2.Eddy G
3.Dawn Marie(that striptease won her over in the Augusta area :p)
    4.Rey Rey
5.Rikishi and Scotty(really knew how to get the crowd into the match)
Honorable Mention: Ultimo, Billy Kidman, all the ladies, and the London/Jordan/Spanky clique.

    Biggest Heat
    1.Brock Lesnar
2.Cena(That rap really got the crowd on his ass)
    3.As funny as it sounds...Shaniqua
    4. DA FBI!!
    5.WGTT
Honorable Mention:Torrie(there was no way she could compete with the tease Dawn put on), Sean O'Haire(He won some of the crowd over with the high-impact offense, killing that heel heat), The Basham's, Chavo after acting like a jerk after losing.

Great show overall I gotta say and a crunktastic good time....WWE really needs to get it together with their attendance though, bad bad sign by tonight's show. Holla~!
