WWE House Show Results from White Plains, New York 10-20-03

    Smackdown brand houseshow
    White Plains, NY

    Gymnasium was pretty empty early on but then filled up quickly. Out of about 3,000 I'd say 2,890 people were there. Show started at exactly 7pm. Tony Chimel welcomes us and say's it's great to be in Westchester. No fireworks to open the show. There is a new thing where if the camera or program you buy has a Wrestlemania XX sticker you will be brought backstage to meet with a WWE superstar. Good to see them trying new things.

    Billy Kidman, Spanky, & Paul London vs. F.B.I.

    Tremendous heel heat for the F.B.I. Nice back & forth match with lots of heat for Stamboli who'd start mocking the crowd by clapping then flip us off. Early in the match Spanky went for a head scissors but fell on his face. I started a you fucked up chant which went on for about 20 seconds. Billy Kidman went to the top rope, flipped over Stamboli and grabbed him over into a powerbomb for the win. Nice match. Lots of Spanky fans & Paul London impressed everyone with his quickness and accuracy.


    Chavo Guerrero vs. Rhyno

    Chavo and Rhyno worked very well with each other. Rhyno kept telling some kid "shut up you little brat". Chavo was whipped into the corner, Rhyno got ready to gore Chavo into the turnbuckle but misses. Chavo rolled him up, grabbed his tights and got the win.


    Orlando Jordan & Zach Gowen vs. Matt Hardy & Shannon Moore

    Crowd was rooting the whole time for Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore. Orlando Jones had his left thigh bandaged & a big bandage on his right leg. He was working pretty lightly. The Nice match by everyone although nobody gave a crap when Orlando Jordan came out. He has improved though. Zach Gowen got the win while Matt Hardy & Orlando Jordan were fighting outside by pinning Shannon Moore.


    Cruiserweight Championship Match:
    Rey Mysterio vs. Tajiri

    WOW What a match. These two dazzled the crowd. Tajiri & Rey Mysterio kept competing to see who could get the bigger pop. The crowd was rightfully eating it all up. Tajiri had lots of fans. He went to one turnbuckle & got booed, Rey would go to that same turnbuckle and get cheered. The ref Brian Hebner was just standing around and Rey Mysterio told him to go up on the turnbuckle and raise his hand like he has a title. This got him a huge ovation.
    Tajiri went into the corner and fell asleep. GREAT stuff. Lots of spots. Back and forth action. Mysterio got the upper hand, did the 619 but as he was going for the west coast pop Jimmy Yang and Keiji Sakoda came out dressed in suits held him down & prevented him from finishing Tajiri off.

    Tajiri got the win, then the Sakoda & Yang handed Tajiri his title. They looked over and started attacking Mysterio. Jamie Noble makes the save and they get Yang & Sakoda into the ropes. Rey hits a 619 and Jamie Noble hit the 619 as well. Rey then did it again for us and Jamie Noble tries to leave but was persuaded by Rey. He returned and hit a pretty cool 619.


    Ultimo Dragon & Jamie Noble vs. Sean O'Haire and A-Train

    A-Train comes out throwing chairs as usual. A pretty good match considering the HAIR TRAIN was in it. Ultimo Dragon couldn't knock either superstar down. He was out of it for a while until he tags Jamie Noble. Noble cleans house but eventually got caught in the derailer. Sean O' Haire looked pretty impressive and had a few marks. After the match Ultimo Dragon and Jamie Noble get up and receive a nice round of applause.

    Triple threat elimination tag match
    APA vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team vs. The Basham Brothers w/ Shaniqua
    Time too long

    This match was the only flaw on the card. It was due to the A.P.A. these guys are too old. Bradshaw say's he & Farooq are too drunk from the drinks they had backstage and feel like kicking some ass. They then turn to Shaniqua who Bradshaw calls a ho. He then makes the connection between Benjamin saying Shaniqua and him are one in the same. They wanna get revenge especially for what happened last night at No Mercy. Shaniqua hits Haas with her prod causing T.W.G.T.T. to be eliminated. A.P.A. win when Bradshaw hits the Clothesline from hell thankfully ending this snorefest.

    After the match Bradshaw and Farooq drink to the Yankees. I hate the Yankees just as much as I hate the A.P.A.

    T-shirt guy fires shirts no where close to anybody on the floor. At one point he shot a shirt and it got stuck at the top of the arena. Everyone started laughing at him this prompted him to fire every shirt into the balcony section. Intermission time and our treat is country songs. OH JOY!!!!


    US Title Match:
    Eddie Guerrero vs. Big Show

    Big show comes out and not much has changed although he does look happier having the U.S. title. Eddie comes out. He sits on the ropes and congratulates the Big show on his U.S. title win. Eddie say's it's just too bad that the belt doesn't fit around show's waist and that he needs a longer belt made for him. Eddie just kept badgering Show. Eddie then challenges Big show to a test of strength and removes his hand. He does it again. This time Big show goes on both knees mocking Guerrero's height. He gets kicked for his troubles.

    The match developed a bit slow but picked up when Eddie removed the rope from the turnbuckle and used it to choke out Big show. Hebner sees it and while putting the rope back Eddie removes another rope and does the same thing. Again Hebner catches him so Eddie removes the tape from around his wrist and uses it to choke out Big show who by now is spitting all over the place. Eddie goes for a chair but it is removed by Hebner. Ref is then knocked out so Eddie hits Big show with the U.S. title then does two frog splashes. He goes for the pin but Hebner is knocked out. Eddie goes for some water and pours it on Hebner. As Hebner is getting up Big show from behind chokeslams Eddie and gets the win.


    Special Ring Announcer Sable and Guest Referee Funaki:
    Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie

    Sable was in face mode tonight waiving to everyone. She is real nice to the fans waiving and allowing people to take pictures just as Lillian Garcia does. Funaki is then announced but dissapoints by not doing the #1 Smackdown announcer routine. Dawn Marie is looking sexy as always wearing a Purple outfit with a wasteband thong. Torrie Wilson comes out and the place erupts. Short match with Dawn Marie winning after Sable cheapshotted Torrie. After the match Dawn Marie attacks Sable, Funaki tries to break it up but is literally in between Torrie and Dawn Marie. Torrie eventually gets the upperhand and throws Dawn Marie out.


    Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit vs. Brock Lesnar & John Cena

    John Cena comes out to a nice pop but it quickly changed when he said he hates the Yankees for making the Red sox lose. He say's it will be funny when they lose the World series and runs down everyone from the city & say's he doesn't ever want to come back to Westchester again because it's full of bitches. I popped for this being a Redsox fan from the Bronx. He then introduces the WWE champion Brock Lesnar. Brock is talking with some people when out of nowhere someone throws something nearly hitting him in the eye. Brock then points the fan out to the most idiotic security I have ever seen. They're just standing there so he gets Hebner who then points out the fan and finally the fan is removed .

    Cena & Angle start off the match. Kurt Angle showed Cena his ass then grabbed John Cena's ass and gave him a kiss on the lips. Cena is puzzled, leaves the ring and calls Angle a fag. Angle say's if getting a piece of the action makes him a fag so be it. Angle then goes to Benoit and gives him a kiss. Brock gets on the mic asking what's going on. He tells Kurt he may have tapped out but he is the WWE champ. He say's Benoit & Angle are GAY and that he and Cena are straight. Right John? Cena than say's "I'm confused" hilarious. Brock say's "What do you mean? Did you like Kurt kissing you and grabbing your ass?" Cena's response was I don't know. Cena's gay chant breaks out. They both then say the hell with being in the ring with a bunch of faggots. They head towards the back.

    Kurt then grabs the mic and say's "Me and Benoit may be fags but at least we're not a bunch of pussies and oh yeah Boston does suck" at the count of eight Cena slides back into the ring and Kurt steps on his hand. Brock F5's Chris Benoit. John Cena then hits the F.U. on Kurt Angle who walks right into Brock and gets an F5. Benoit is about to go for his headbutt but gets caught. He and Cena go at it and Brock is tagged in. Brock gets placed in the cross face and escapes. It's back to Angle & Cena. Eventually Cena gets the Angle slam and taps out after being placed in the Angle lock. After the match Kurt Angle wants one more time with Benoit for old time's sake. Everyone is thinking as I am that this will be a bonus match. Kurt Angle wants Chris Benoit to grab his ass. Kurt then tells Chris to look at it, how nice his ass is. It's a nice shape and so firm to hold. Eventually Benoit shakes his head, starts laughing and smiling then touches it four times. Benoit leaves, Kurt thanks us as if weren't for the fans he wouldn't have gotten the support he did when he was in a hospital with an injured neck. He wouldn't have a reason to go out everynight and put on great matches. He then bows and say's he can't wait to come back to Westchester.
