    IWA Total Impact
Episode #16 - No Different Versions This Week
    Air Date: 10/17/03

The BIG NEWS: They continue to chop up old un-aired episodes that they dub
into English and air them out of order. I continue to get a migraine trying
to explain the time lines for you.

Match Results: El Chicano p. Slash Venom, "El Lobo" Andy Anderson p. Agent
Bruno, Re-Air Classic Match, Abyss p. Nord. Not a good week for THE BOSS.
    Shame.

    Overview:

The best hits! Flips! Slams and pins are on IWA TOTAL IMPACT! Roll the bumper!

MATCH #1: IWA INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION: EL CHICANO v. SLASH VENOM with ANGEL

MARIO SAVOLDI welcomes everyone to IWA TOTAL IMPACT, he's alongside "DIRTY"
DUTCH MANTEL, which means this episode is another episode that has been in
the can for months on end and will likely contain a few horrible botched
edits and random Spanish language dialogue. SLASH VENOM & ANGEL are
ringside (well, ANGEL is in the ring and VENOM is on the apron). MANTEL
informs us of an attack that has occurred on "GLAMOUR BOY" SHANE by THE
BOSS' men earlier today during an autograph session. MANTEL tosses it to
footage that never airs and instead we get to hear VENOM's real music and
head the ring announcer in Spanish. After about 30 seconds of no
commentary, MANTEL & SAVOLDI talk about this shocking footage we've just
(not) seen. EL CHICANO makes his way to the ring. MANTEL calls CHICANO and
VENOM arch enemies. The fact that pretty much every wrestler on the IWA
roster has a large fan club is at least a small bit disturbing, I'll tell
you that much. Bell rings to start. Stare down from across the ring, then
they circle. Collar and elbow to start. They jockey for position a bit,
spinning about the ring. CHICANO gets VENOM backed into the corner and the
referee calls for the break. VENOM shoves CHICANO on the break, who shoves
back. Collar and elbow again. CHICANO gets an arm wringer, then works the
arm. VENOM rolls through, kips up, then gets an arm wringer of his own.
CHICANO uses the top ring rope to flip out of it and get another arm
wringer on VENOM. VENOM gets a short forearm shot to the face, then into a
side headlock. CHICANO backs VENOM to the ropes and shoves him off. VENOM
off the far side gets a shoulder block. VENOM bounces off the near ropes
and CHICANO rolls to his stomach so VENOM can leap over. MANTEL puts over
VENOM spending time in LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY as apart of OHIO VALLEY
WRESTLING. CHICANO gets a hip toss as VENOM comes off the ropes. Back up
and CHICANO gets an arm drag takedown and then negotiates an arm bar from
that. VENOM gets back up to his knees, then a vertical base and gets a hip
toss on CHICANO, but CHICANO holds onto the arm bar and they're basically
back at square one. VENOM gets back to his knees and gets a double leg to
break free. MANTEL says the Main Event today will be ABYSS v. NORD. That
doesn't really mean anything if the show is spliced together, but that is a
match we have yet to see on IWA TOTAL IMPACT, so it is a very likely
possibility. VENOM misses an elbow drop. CHICANO with a modified arm
drag/hip toss again into another arm bar. VENOM fights back up to a
vertical base and shoves CHICANO to his back. VENOM rolls to the floor and
bolts around the ring as CHICANO is in hot pursuit. VENOM slides back in
and bounces off the ropes. CHICANO follows and drops to his stomach for
VENOM to leap over. CHICANO gets another arm drag takeover into an arm bar
on VENOM again. Crowd eats this up. VENOM negotiates back to his feet and
fights back with forearm shots to the face, backing CHICANO into the corner
and breaking the hold. Cross corner whip by VENOM. CHICANO leaps to the
middle turnbuckle and head fakes, so when VENOM charges, he drops to his
stomach. CHICANO then hits a nice dropkick. Rights by CHICANO that back
VENOM into the corner. Cross corner whip by CHICANO is reversed. VENOM
follows in with a charge, but no one is home. CHICANO apparently only has
one move in his repertoire as he hits another arm drag takeover into an arm
bar. Man, it's CHRIS JERICHO's list of 1004 hold all over again. MANTEL
puts this over as the mark of a great professional athlete, continuing to
pick away at a body part. It works, I guess... VENOM gets up to his feet
and gets a knee lift to break free. Elbow to the back of the head by
VENOM. Another. VENOM tosses CHICANO to the floor. VENOM follows and
tosses CHICANO face/throat first into the guard rail. CHICANO fights back
and VENOM eats the guard rail. CHICANO tosses VENOM's head into the guard
rail again, then tosses him back into the ring. Whip by CHICANO, then a
back elbow. CHICANO hits the ropes again and ANGEL trips him. Clothesline
by VENOM. Boots to the back of the head by VENOM. Turnbuckle smash by
VENOM. VENOM rakes CHICANO's eyes across the top ring rope as MANTEL
explains the colors and the fan clubs in the crowd for the 90th time since
last week. VENOM pulls away from CHICANO so ANGEL can get another shot in.
Whip by VENOM and he catches CHICANO with a clothesline. VENOM with a
springboard spinning guillotine leg drop from the middle ring rope on
CHICANO as we head to a commercial break.

IWA ON TOUR! www.iwawrestlingusa.net is still in Spanish! YEAH! Would you
like to find out how to have IWA come to your hometown? You can visit that
site (learn to speak Spanish) or call 973-887-2698 or e-mail tvsynd@aol.com
    ! Wow!

The old TOTAL IMPACT bumper returns us to the action. VENOM relinquishes a
choke on CHICANO on the canvas, then running boots him to the side of the
head. Forearm by VENOM backs CHICANO into the corner. Series of chops by
VENOM and CHICANO is brought back to life. He reverses VENOM in the corner
and delivers a series of chops of his own. VENOM gets an eye gouge. Whip by
VENOM, who follows CHICANO in and ducks his head. CHICANO gets a sunset
flip for two. Running forearm by VENOM. ANGEL gets up on the apron and
VENOM chokes CHICANO with the top ring rope. VENOM slaps CHICANO over the
back of the head from his knees. Forearm shot. MANTEL tells us that RICKY
BANDERAS is supposed to be deafening his IWA HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP against
SHANE, but he doesn't know because of the attack. I think that match
already aired on EMPIRE's feed two weeks ago, actually... VENOM with shots
to CHICANO in the corner. They exchange rights and VENOM gets a knee lift.
Whip by VENOM. He tries a hip toss but CHICANO floats over and hits a
NICE~! DDT. VENOM sells it like a champ and we have a double count out
spot. Both men slow to their feet. VENOM charges in and we get the famed
"Heel throws a right. Blocked. Face punches back" exchange. Ah yes, seems
like just yesterday AUSTIN and ROCK did that on a nightly basis... CHICANO
with a whip and a back body drop. I forgot that the back body drop was in
the move set of every IWA baby face. Clothesline by CHICANO. Leaping leg
lariat by CHICANO takes VENOM down. MANTEL calls it a side kick. CHICANO
with a whip, tries another back body drop, but VENOM flips over the back of
CHICANO to his feet. Superkick by CHICANO. CHICANO goes to the top and hits
a somersault centon bomb or Swan-Ton Bomb for the cover. CHICANO gets two
as he pulls off of the cover when ANGEL hits the ring. ANGEL drops an elbow
and since CHICANO moved, ANGEL hits VENOM. CHICANO turns his attention to
ANGEL and VENOM grabs CHICANO from behind. Heels try a double team spot,
but of course VENOM eats a right hand. The poor guy can't buy a break on
this television show, I swear! ANGEL eats a superkick by CHICANO. VENOM
charges CHICANO, who catches him with a gut wrench pick-up into a
tilt-a-wirl forward slam for two. Back up and CHICANO whips VENOM across
corners. CHICANO charges and eats a boot. VENOM gets on the middle
turnbuckle and misses a somersault reverse neck breaker (BUFF BLOCKBUSTER,
OVERCAST)... CHICANO slides his feet behind VENOM (who is seated at this
point) and uses a body scissors to roll VENOM from a seated position to his
shoulders for the three count in 8:16 TV Time. VENOM hits a seated dropkick
to the face post match. ANGEL (RODRIGUEZ, as MANTEL finally gives the guy a
last name) hits the ring as well with a Singapore Cane. They double team
CHICANO for a while and VENOM tosses the referee to the floor. ANGEL
continues with shots with the cane. VENOM joins back in and the little
referee (PELAYITO VASQUEZ, or as MANTEL calls him PELAYA). ANGEL misses
with a cane shot and VASQUEZ hits a nice dropkick... VASQUEZ points at
VENOM and then removes his referee shirt. Wow, it was so nice of them to
air at least this portion of the build-up before actually AIRNG the VASQUEZ
    v. VENOM match on 9/5/03. Alas... VASQUEZ tosses the shirt at VENOM. Rights
by VASQUEZ. This is broken up by a knee by VENOM. Whip by VENOM. VENOM
misses a clothesline and VASQUEZ leaps on his back and begins unleashing a
fury on VENOM. The crowd eats this up with a spoon and begs for more. VENOM
eventually tosses VASQUEZ off his back. ANGEL joins in and they double team
VASQUEZ. CHICANO gets to his feet and attacks VENOM. VENOM is clotheslined
to the floor. CHICANO gets a right on ANGEL and he tumbles to the floor.
CHICANO teases a dive and VENOM moves out of the way. ANGEL laughs on the
floor and CHICANO back drops VASQUEZ over the top to the floor on ANGEL.
VENOM pounces on him, however. CHICANO comes to his aide and they're paired
off brawling. VENOM bolts to the back and CHICANO & VASQUEZ get shots on
ANGEL until he makes it to the back as well. MANTEL tells us to not go away
    as more is to come.

MATCH #1: IWA Intercontinental Champion: El Chicano d. Slash Venom with
Angel by Pinfall (8:16 TV Time) with a body scissors into a rolling roll-up.

MATCH #2: "EL LOBO" ANDY ANDERSON v. AGENT BRUNO

Wow, they didn't even take a commercial. A mere IWA TOTAL IMPACT bumper and
we're on to the next match. MANTEL & SAVOLID introduce themselves. Oh
goodie, they're airing another opening match from a different episode.
SAVOLDI says they're "starting it off with"... They talk about this being
BRUNO's debut, which is false. CRAVEN defeated BRUNO on 8/29/03's edition
of IWA TOTAL IMPACT. I really question why they are airing this older stuff
in the manner they are. Is it to confuse everyone? Why one week show a
history video of stuff that happened between two guys, then a week later
air when it happened? Doesn't make much sense to me. MLW, for instance,
waited until after they AIRED certain matches from WARGAMES on TV before
splicing them into the introduction for their show, so I give them props
for that... any ways. MANTEL tells us that ANDERSON is a native of
Edmonton, Alberto, Canada. No, that's not a typo. BRUNO jumps ANDERSON on
the apron, knocking him to the floor. MANTEL tells us that the NEW IWA
WORLD CHAMPION RAY GONZALEZ will be defending against KONNAN this week.
That's good to know, as I saw that match *LAST* week... Rights on the floor
by BRUNO. Knee lift. More rights. BRUNO hard whips ANDERSON from the ring
into a totally different barricade than the one that was there for the
previous match. The enter thing split apart and it looked pretty wicked.
BRUNO charges ANDERSON, but ANDERSON moves and BRUNO eats barricade. Right.
Chop. ANDERSON alternates between the two on BRUNO on the floor. ANDERSON
tosses BRUNO into the ring. BRUNO tries a right, but guess what? It's
blocked. ANDERSON hits one of his own. Rights by ANDERSON backs BRUNO into
the ropes. Whip by ANDERSON is reversed. ANDERSON stops mid-ring and gets
an arm wringer (sort of) into a Russian leg sweep. ANDERSON barely gets a
two out of it. The commentary for the match is focused on THE BOSS'
dedication to the wrestling business and all the superstars he is bringing
and/or brought to the IWA. Apparently I've been calling a move the Lo Down
for years and it's really the Eon Down as SAVOLDI informs us that VEGA even
brought in DEON BROWN! WOW! MANTEL corrects him, telling him it's D-LO
BROWN. Rights by ANDERSON takes BRUNO into the corner. Cross corner whip by
ANDERSON... BRUNO reverses is and catches the legs of ANDERSON on the
charge when ANDERSON attempts a push-off leap frog. BRUNO crotches ANDERSON
on the top ring rope. Running forearm shot by BRUNO knocks ANDERSON off the
rope to the floor. They plug this being our first look at AGENT BRUNO
again. [sigh]. SAVOLDI asks if he's a BOSS MAN, which they play off meaning
"is he with THE BOSS?" ... BRUNO follows ANDERSON to the floor after some
stalling. BRUNO grabs ANDERSON by the hair and tosses him into the
barricade head first. BRUNO slides back into the ring to break the count
(for what reason I don't know, as the referee is on the floor with them and
there are no disqualifcations to my knowledge in IWA) and slides right back
out. Right by BRUNO, then he chokes ANDERSON with the television cable.
PELAYITO VASQUEZ admonishes BRUNO, who pulls away. BRUNO with a shot to
ANDERSON. BRUNO goes to get a chair then nails ANDERSON over the back with
it. The referee is right there too. But he BOTHERED TO BREAK THE COUNT~!
BRUNO nails ANDERSON with a few more chair shots. BRUNO rolls back into the
ring and taunts the fans. BRUNO pulls ANDERSON back into the ring. Boots by
BRUNO as MANTEL says that ANDERSON has a fan club as well and they sit way
up in the cheap seats. BRUNO tries a running turnbuckle smash, but ANDERSON
gets his foot up to block it. Shots by ANDERSON, then chops. Cross corner
whip by ANDERSON is reversed. ANDERSON gets a forearm shot on BRUNO on the
charge in. ANDERSON charges BRUNO and BRUNO gets a one handed pick-up into
a sit-out powerbomb. BRUNO delays his cover and gets two. BRUNO with
punches to the head of ANDERSON as MANTEL tells us that they've got to pay
    some bills.

IWA TOTAL IMPACT logo brings us back. BRUNO drags ANDERSON to his feet by
his hair. Turnbuckle smash, then some shots in the corner. MANTEL calls it
Alberto, Canada again. Whip by BRUNO, then a back elbow. BRUNO climbs to
the middle ring rope then leaps off with a leg drop. Neat move for the big
man, actually. This gets two as ANDERSON grabs the bottom ring rope. BRUNO
chokes ANDERSON in the corner to no commentary. Punches by BRUNO. Corner
whip and BRUNO eats an elbow on the charge. BRUNO charges again
and ANDERSON tries a boot, but BRUNO catches it. ANDERSON then hits a nice
enzugiri. Both men slow to their feet as the crowd rallies behind ANDERSON.
I block your punch, you don't block mine again... And again! Shots by
ANDERSON. Whip and an elbow. Clothesline by ANDERSON. BRUNO begs off. Boot
boot. Corner whip by ANDERSON is reversed. BRUNO bounces off the ropes as
ANDERSON backs out of the corner... ANDERSON hits a clothesline instead of
BRUNO, however. This gets two. Boots by ANDERSON as BRUNO begs off.
Turnbuckle smash. Corner whip by ANDERSON reversed. ANDERSON comes out of
the corner and BRUNO whips him back into the original one. BRUNO follows in
with a splash. Sidewalk slam by BRUNO. BRUNO goes to the middle turnbuckle
for the VADER BOMB, but misses. ANDERSON gets a somersault rolling cradle
for two. Rights by ANDERSON. Whip by ANDERSON, but he eats a boot for
ducking his head early. BRUNO tries a belly to back on ANDERSON, but
ANDERSON goes up and over with a sunset flip for three in 6:50 TV Time.
ANDERSON celebrates while BRUNO is dejected.

MATCH #2: "El Lobo" Andy Anderson d. Agent Bruno by Pinfall (6:50 TV Time)
with a sunset flip from a belly to back suplex attempt by Bruno.

IWA ON TOUR! www.iwawrestlingusa.net is still in Spanish! YEAH!

WOW! MATCH #3 is a classic match from 9/5/03! YEAH! Let's repeat a classic
match! They even put a commercial in the middle of it to eat up more time!
Here's what I said then, because I've watched this match like 9 times
    already! YEAH!

"3) CLASSIC MATCH: "STUNNING" STEVE AUSTIN, SHEIK BRADDOCK, & JEFF GAYLORD
with SKANDOR AKBAR v. CHRIS ADAMS, "MANIAC" MATT BORNE, & "FLAMBOYANT" ERIC
    EMBRY.

Now, this is the type of classic match I'd like to se them air. No more
NEIDHART v. ORTON, JR. from 1999 as "classic" please.... Some really nice
old school work that has aged well over time. Crowd is really into this
match and chants "Go Matt Go" as the heels destroy "The Missouri Tiger"...
Today this pace would be considered methodical, but the pace worked and was
more of a realistic style in terms of selling moves. Adams, Austin, and
Borne all work in some very standard moves that just in delivery look
devastating and crisp. ADAMS gets the hot tag from BORNE, leading to the
Pier Six Brawl. ADAMS and AUSTIN are left in the ring allowing ADAMS to
superkick AUSTIN. While the referee is distracted by the brawl on the
floor, SKANDOR AKBAR hits the ring and nails ADAMS over the back of the
head with a dreaded foreign object allowing AUSTIN to garner the fall in
10:10 TV Time. CHRIS ADAMS has to be one of the most under appreciated
wrestlers I've ever watched. He made a freaking ELBOW drop look wicked.
Post match we have a heel beat down with AKBAR & BRADDOCK double teaming
    EMBRY."

Isn't that nice? Pretty amazing! WOW! Okay, back to the report...

MATCH #4: ABYSS v. NORD with ANGEL

The battle of the big men is the main event. MANTEL & SAVOLDI put over NORD
and his size. No one notes that NORD is winless on IWA TOTAL IMPACT in the
USA. Again, like the other "clip" versions, we get the SPANISH ring
introductions and the original music for the wrestlers introductions
instead of the stock intros. ABYSS calls NORD to come get some. This works
out since NORD jumps to the floor to meet ABYSS in the center of the ring
and the entrance way. ABYSS motions for NORD to bring it. After some
hesitation on the stare down, it is. ABYSS blocks a right and fires away
with shots of his own. NORD keeps trying to nail ABYSS, but to no avail.
ABYSS tosses NORD into the barricade and the crowd goes wild. NORD finally
gets in some shots as they brawl around the ring. ABYSS regains control and
delivers a huge right. NORD eats the barricade again. They begin to fight
their way over near the sound technician and the now infamous "booth" near
the fans. ABYSS sets NORD up for a powerbomb through the sound technician's
table, but ANGEL breaks it up. This, of course, leads to ABYSS trying the
same on ANGEL. NORD decides to break it up this time. Rights by NORD. NORD
drags ABYSS back near the ring and tosses him into the barricade. NORD with
chops against the barricade. NORD slams ABYSS head first into the
barricade. ABYSS fights back and NORD's face eats the barricade as well.
Clubbing blows to the back by ABYSS and he sends NORD into the ring.
SAVOLDI asks MANTEL why you see ANGEL with certain guys, then FERNADO TOLOS
with others... then in other cases "THE BOSS" SAVIO VEGA comes out. MANTEL
says that VEGA delegates authority and it's the best way to keep everyone
focused. ABYSS with delayed suplex. Always liked the term "totem pole
suplex" and no one ever uses it. ABYSS does his pose, then misses a leg
drop. NORD hits the ropes and boots ABYSS right in his face as he tries to
get up. SAVOLDI points out that ANGEL is setting a chair up between the
middle and top turnbuckles. NORD decides to pose a bit. ABYSS gets up to
his feet during this time and when NORD turns around, he eats some fists.
Whip by ABYSS, who catches NORD off the ropes with a gorilla press. ABYSS
then drops NORD with a Samoan drop from that. ABYSS scares ANGEL off the
apron. ABYSS grabs NORD by the hair and drags him near the chair and NORD
fights back. NORD tries a charge on ABYSS in the corner and eats a boot.
ABYSS charges NORD and NORD tosses ABYSS into the corner and face first
into the chair. NORD puts the boots to ABYSS. NORD uses his knee to choke
ABYSS. Boots to the head by NORD some more. MANTEL mentions the "unseen"
attack on SHANE that was apparently supposed to air but they never bothered
to splice in... NORD turns away from ABYSS for a second so ANGEL can get
some cheap shots in... NORD pulls ABYSS back to his feet by the hair and
delivers a series of forearms square to the face... then a killer round
house kick to the side of ABYSS' head. Pretty impressive considering the
size of these two. That gets two as the commentary disappears. Whew. NORD
sets ABYSS for a powerbomb, but ABYSS back drops out of it. ABYSS nails
NORD with shots to the head. ABYSS tries a whip, but NORD reverses. NORD
eats a boot for ducking his head early and ABYSS signals for a chokeslam as
he grabs NORD by the throat. NORD nails a knee to the gut as ABYSS signals.
NORD off the ropes hits a knee to the back of ABYSS' head as ABYSS is bent
over. NORD taunts the crowd and we head to a commercial break.

The TOTAL IMPACT (old school) bumper brings us back as NORD is making a
series of covers. MANTEL is talking about "if NORD is smart, he'll just lay
on top of this guy..." I have no idea either, really... We come back for...
you guessed it, a REVERSE CHINLOCK~! by NORD. NORD works a Shinanmaki (sp?)
out of the chinlock and MANTEL puts the hold over big time as a move NORD
learned during one of his tours of Japan. ABYSS falls from a seated
position to his side and NORD starts using the middle ring rope for
leverage. ANGEL plays the role of the guy taking the blame for shaking the
rope as NORD plays it off when the referee looks over... The referee drops
ABYSS' arm once... twice... and of course ABYSS starts acting like a wild
man on three. ABYSS quickly fights back up to a vertical base. Elbow to the
mid-section. Another. Another. NORD breaks the hold. ABYSS off the ropes.
NORD misses a clothesline. Leaping forearm (CUT TO CROWD, it looked bad...
but not THAT bad). Both men are down and slowly get to their feet.
http://www.IWAWrestlingUSA.net pops up on the screen to remind us to learn
to speak Spanish... NORD tries a right, blocked by ABYSS who hits his own.
Let's do that again. Then a scoop--- and a slam by ABYSS. Another
(unacknowledged) cut to the crowd and we see TWO wrestlers brawling in the
crowd as ABYSS is charging at NORD in the corner... what the hell? The
footage they cut to doesn't even seem like it's in the same arena. ABYSS
charges the corner after a cross corner whip, but NORD hits a back elbow.
ABYSS catches NORD off a charge with a lift, then a "pushed" drop on. ABYSS
signals for the chokeslam again. NORD ducks it. NORD gets the hand around
the throat of ABYSS and tries a chokeslam of his own. NORD uses a single
leg to pick-up ABYSS and does a short single leg/chokeslam into a
spinebuster for two after a delayed cover. ANGEL can't believe it on the
arena floor. NORD fires away with more punches to the head of ABYSS. Whip
by NORD, but ABYSS nails NORD with some shots to the back of the head for
ducking early. NORD ducks a clothesline, but ABYSS gets the BLACK HOLE
SLAM~! corkscrew sidewalk slam. ANGEL hops on the apron as ABYSS covers
him. ABYSS goes after ANGEL, who uses the referee between him and ABYSS to
toss NORD a chain. NORD goes to use it and swings wildly, missing. ABYSS
gets a boot to the mid-section and gets possession of the chain (more like
a collar with chains). ABYSS nails NORD over the head with it. ABYSS nails
ANGEL with a shot, knocking him off the apron. ABYSS covers NORD, but only
gets two. The crowd is in disbelief at this point as the chant for "three"
(well, "tres") was even louder than the count for two ("dos")... ABYSS
poses some for the crowd and gets up to the middle turnbuckle. NORD moves
out of the way of a splash. NORD tries a chokeslam, but ABYSS fights out
with back elbows. ABYSS tries a chokeslam, but NORD chops ABYSS' hand out
of the way. NORD off the ropes... misses a clothesline... and gets caught
with a BLACK HOLE SLAM~! corkscrew sidewalk slam again for three in 9:59 TV
Time. ABYSS poses post match and ANGEL decides to attack from behind.
SAVOLDI says "there is a mosquito in the house..." ABYSS chokeslams ANGEL
to the delight of the fans. THE BOSS' guys hit the ring, lead by RICKY
BANDERAS & MIGUEL PEREZ, JR. at first. BANDERAS gets to ABYSS just a second
or two before PEREZ. SLASH VENOM & THE BOSS himself are not far behind. The
beat down becomes four on one. FERNADO TOLOS arrives as the beat down
continues. NORD joins in making it five on one. THE BOSS uses his bat as
PEREZ uses his Singapore cane. ANGEL joins in and it's six on one. The
crowd is chanting for someone (either RAY GONZALEZ or SHANE)... and FINALLY
after a pretty good beat down, IWA WORLD CHAMPION: RAY GONZALEZ hits the
ring with a bat of his own. NORD eats a bat shot to the back. GONZALEZ
stands off the BOSS' men as VEGA & COMPANY sneer and laugh on the arena
floor. MANTEL shills next week as being TOMMY DIABLO v. MR. SAN JUAN (which
we haven't seen yet), EL PAPPARAZZI, & SHANE... but, of course that means jack.

MATCH #4: Abyss d. Nord with Angel by Pinfall (9:59 TV Time) after a
    corkscrew sidewalk slam.

Best Match: They were all pretty decent this week, with nothing really
standing out above and beyond the rest of the pack, however. If I had to
pick, I'd chose ABYSS v. NORD based solely on the emotion and story. I'm a
huge SLASH VENOM mark, but I really wasn't feeling CHICANO.

Worst Match: I loved the classic match last time it was on IWA, but air
something new. It gets worst match for wasting 15:00 of TV time after
    already being aired before.

Grade: A- ... I realy enjoy the IWA style of wrestling, I really do. The
characters are a blast and the in ring stuff is great (while far from "top
notch")... If it wasn't for the fact that they continue to be stupid in
editing this and MLW would be fighting over best FREE TV show every week.
Until IWA fixes that problem, MLW is still undisputed champion. Until
SUNDAY (which will prolly be TUESDAY due to my watching the HA!
    Pay-Per-View)...
