    Report sent in by RollerJam

Sable comes out to kick off the evening. She tells us
that Vince was not able to attend tonight which brings
about an ovation. After some meaningless pump up the
crowd chatter, Cena interrupts and cuts down
Valparaiso and the Crusaders (Cena was one of many to
    misprounounce Valparaiso). Benoit interrupts Cena
which leads us to Cena vs. Benoit.

    John Cena vs. Chris Benoit:
Benoit gets the crowd started with some You Suck
chants directed towards Cena. Mixed Cena reaction
throughout the night. Benoit goes up for the headbutt
and misses at the end. Cena goes for his finisher but
Benoit rolls it back and locks in the cross face for
    the victory.

    Nunzio vs. Jamie Noble w/Nidia:
This match was nothing to get excited about. Nunzio
did execute a nice 2nd rope fame-asser but was unable
to score a victory from it, but did win this one with
    helps from the ropes.

Shannon Moore and Matt Hardy vs. Paul London and
    Spanky:
Quick paced match, several near falls but Hardy wins
it with the Twist of Fate. Surprisingly, after a great
match, London and Spanky leave to a lot of boos.

    Rhyno vs. Orlando Jordan:
After Rhyno appears and tells us that this town sucks,
he attacks Orlando Jordan upon his entry. The match is
short and sweet and Rhyno wins it with a gore.

    O'Haire and A-Train vs. APA:
A-Train reminds us yet again that this town sucks.
There is action before the bell outside the ring, and
note that the A-Train's right elbow is heavily taped.
Bradshaw takes out the A-Train with a clothesline at
the end while Faarooq delivers a spine buster to
O'Haire for an APA victory. The APA appear to be in
    top form.

    Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar:
This is the last match before the intermission. Brock
got a lot of cheers and was very confused as to how to
react. Lots of Brock stalling early on. At the end,
Angle went for the angle slam but it was reversed in
to an F-5 and reversed again in to an ankle lock which
was kicked out of by Brock and in the process the ref
went down. Lesnar goes to retrieve the belt and tries
to hit Angle with it but gets Angle-slammed for his
efforts. Brock finally gets up and connects with the
belt. The ref is still dazed though and angle
eventually delivers 3 German Suplexes after the ref
recovers. Lesnar recovers and dazes the ref enough to
gain a quick upperhand and scores what appears to be a
three, and the bell rings. However, it was clearly a
two and the match continues. Finally Lesnar wins it
with a legit 3 thanks to an F-5.

Post match Angle (who says Valparaiso correctly, the
only talent of the night who did so) thanks us for
being there and tells us that we make him proud to be
    an American.

    Intermission.

    Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio:
Absolute silence for Tajiri's entrance. This was a
typical Tajiri vs. Mysterio match which means it was
excellent. Tajiri wins it with the green mist and the
    kick to the head.

    Divas Match:
Sable is our guest ring announcer and Funaki is the
the special guest referee. Originally, the match is
scheduled to be Dawn Marie (who was looking quite
cheeky if you know what I mean) against Nidia.
However, Sable changes the match by Vince's orders to
Dawn and Nidia vs. Orlando Jordan in drag, I mean
Shanequa. Shanequa dominates for the win. Post match
    Shanequa decides to clothesline Funaki.

    Los Guerreros vs. The Bashams:
Heavily dominated by Los Guerreros early on. Bashams
use their power to gain control. Lots of classic tags
by the Bashams to maintain control. Shanequa tried to
help her men, but ended up nailing one of her own
which shifted the advantage to Los Guerreros. A
comical bit ensues not long after between Eddy and the
ref about the tag rope, but finally Chavo makes the
tag. Eddy comes in and goes for the frog splash, but
the Bashams make a switch without the refs knowledge
and seem to be on their way to winning the tag belts,
but Eddy and Chavo counter to score the victory and
    retain the belts.

Post Match Eddy basically thanks the fans for coming,
    and that's it.

Two hours, twenty minutes run time with a fifteen
    minute intermission.
