Report sent in by Nick Ponton

Been a while since I've been able to actually watch wrestling, so I really don't know any finishing moves or story angles anymore.

I showed up a couple minutes late...when I got there, Austin, Test, and Stacy where in the ring jawing about a match for tonight. Austin told Tets he'd be sorry if he touched him. Stacy shoved Test into Austin. Austin gave him a stunner, drank a few beers and then told Test he had a match RIGHT NOW.

    Lance Storm d. Test
Pretty good match with a lot of Stacy involvement. Lots of nearfalls from Storm He finally got the win with a superkick. After the match, Storm asked us if we wanted to watch Stacy dance and of course we did. Stacy said she'd only do it if Lance danced with her....and he did. Test got the last word in and Test and Stacy stormed off.

Hurricane & Rosey d. Rodney Mack & Mark Henry w/ Teddy Long
Long gave the racist speech before the match....I haven't been called white trash in a couple days, so it was alright. Rosey got tired up in the ropes and Henry hit a powerslam on Hurricane to pick up the win. After the match, Rosey laid on the mats on the floor for quite a while and a lot of trainers came out. It really didn't look like he did anything he should be selling....he kinda twisted his knee up in the ropes....probably nothing, but it looked weird.

Rico w/Jackie Gayda d. Tommy Dreamer
Lots of gay jokes and Dreamer tried to do it ECW style..even got a small chant going. Rico picks up the win with a spinning heel kick. Dreamer gets the last word in and plants one on Jackie before he leaves.

    **Intercontinental Title Match**
    Christian d. Rob Van Dam

OK, you know it's been a while since I watched Raw....last time I looked, Christian had long hair. Anyway, lots of ECW influence in RVD's intro....it's just like when I was at the Civic Center for a ECW on TNN TV taping....long time going around the ring shaking hands. Christian tried to walk away, but RVD called him a pussy and he came back. Christian hit his finsher, but RVD kicked out. He eventually got Van Dam with a roll up using the ropes for leverage to retain his title. After the match, RVD hit the 5-Star Frog Splash.

    **Tag Team Title Table Match**
The Dudle Boys d. Renee Dupree & Rob Conway

Wierd match....since when is a table match tag rules? Rather boring until the free-for-all at the end. Spike came out to the aid of his brothers and hit the acid drop. D-Von got the tables then put Dupree (I think) on Bubba's shoulders for a powerbomb off the second rope for the win. After the match, they gave a piece of the table to a kid in the second row...they brought him in the ring, put the belts on his shoulder then D-Von and Bubba posed while Spike took a picture for the kid.....really cool.

    ----Intermission----

Trish Stratus & Lita d. Victoria & Jacklyn
    Special Guest Referee: Val Venis

Val had cool "future" porno titles for all of them. Trish hid a wicked sweet hurricanranna....it seriously looked like Rey Mysterio was donig it. Lita picked up the win for her team by hitting the Twist of Fate on Victoria.

    **Last Man Standing Street Fight**
    Shane McMahon d. Kane

Really short match. Lots of weak hardcore stuff. Shane hits a "VanTerminator" on Kane to pick up the victory. After the match, Kane gets the mic and tells Shane it isn't over...it's over when he says it is.

    Maven/Goldberg d. Randy Orton/Ric Flair
Slow paced 80's style match with lots of holds, taunts and the like. Maven takes a wicked beating. All hell breaks lose and Goldberg cleans house after finally getting the tag. Flair gets tossed outside and Maven ties him up by pulling down his briefs. Feel sorry for the fellows in the front row that got a good look at Flair's junk. Goldberg hits the spear and Jackhammer on Orton to pick up the win. After the match, Goldberg shakes hands and signs autographs. He even grabbed a little kid and palmed him like a basketball and brought him over the rail...really cool stuff.

Overall, I was really impressed with the fan interaction...that was something they didn't do just a year ago. The product tonight was really fan oriented and that was really cool. The matches were all solid as well....nothing to complain about here.
