WWE House Show Results from Brandon, Manitoba 09-28-03

    The show starts off with Sable coming out to a pretty big pop. The sound system was pretty crappy so you could hardly hear what she was saying from where I was sitting (5th row on the floor). It was basically the same as what was said in Winnipeg the night before. Anyways Cena's music hits and he comes out toa big pop, sees some fans with a huge word life sign, and totally brushes them off. He raps about Brandon being a faming city with a bunch of animal lovers, and ends with wiping his ass with the canadian flag. Chris Benoit comes out and challenges him to a match, at which Cena taps out to the crossface. Albert would then come out and lays the beats to Benoit. Bradshaw would then make the save. Benoit leaves to a huge ovation.

    2nd Match: Jaime Noble defeats Nunzio. Pretty stale match. Nidia was at ringside.

    3rd Match: Orlando Jones defeats Rhyno. Stale match again. Cheap heat by Rhyno by grabbing the mic at the beginning and saying "Brandon Sucks".

    4th Match: Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore defeated Spanky and some other guy who I couldn't hear his name with the Twist of Fate. Funny entrance by Spanky and the other guy. As they were running out, the walkway got narrower an from what I could see, Spanky hit his head on the metal railing that held the two sides together (kind of an arch thing). Ref checked Spanky out and the match was started. Pretty decent. Spanky took a couple bumps to the outside of the ring which wasn't very padded.

    5th Match: Bradshaw defeated A-Train with the clothesline from hell.

    6th Match: Los Guerreros defeated The Basham Brothers (with Shaniqua)
    Very good match here Shaniqua booted Chavo pretty viciously on the ring apron. Eddie hit a very good Frog Splash to get the win.

    7th Match: Tajiri defeated Rey Mysterio with the green mist and a kick to the back of the head. Rey hit the 619 but Tajiri ducked the West Coast Pop and then "misted" Rey in the face. Very good match.

    8th Match: Sable comes to the ring as the guest ring announcer and tells everyone about the next match which was a Diva's Match. Dawn Marie comes out, and the her opponent Nidia comes out. Sable then informs them of the special guest referee, Funaki. Funaki comes to the ring to a good pop. Sable then tells the Divas that this would be a handicap match against......Shaniqua. Shaniqua destroys both divas, and gets the win. She then clothelines Funaki at the end.

    9th Match: Brock Lesnar defeats Kurt Angle with the F5 after a cheap belt shot.

    Match starts with Angle coming out to a huge pop. Lesnar comes out, looking absolutely huge in person, to huge heat. Angle gets on the mic and starts to bash Lesnar. Angle calls him a pussy, which the crowd gladly chants. This pisses of Lesnar to the point that he takes his title and makes his way back to the locker room. Angle gets on the mic and tells Lesnar that its going to be 1 of 2 ways. Lesnar can either come into the ring and Angle can beat the Shit out of him, or he can go to the back and after the show, Angle can beat the Shit out of him there. Lesnar runs back to the ring, grabs the mic and says that he is the Champion, at which Angle replys that Lesnar may be the champion, but "You tapped out". The crowd eats that up and starts the chant. They start the actual match now which consists of many grapples and pushes. Angle gets pushed to opposite corner, and Lesnar felses at Angle. Angle the! n does his "taking the top of his outfit off" thing, and everyone is expecting him to flex, but he turns around and pussl his outfint down and moons Lesnar BARE ASS. The crowd went nuts and Lesnar and the ref could stop laughing. Lesnar then goes on to say that he now looks at Angle totally different and the ref is totally laughing his ass off and so is Angle. The match then continues. Very good match with the two. Later on Lesnar ges the moon again from Angle. Huge pop. During the match, Lesnar was walking along by the security railing and a fan stands up and slaps Lesnar on the back very hard. Lesnar stops and stares right at the fan and said "Don't you fucken touch me again" The fan gets in Lesnars face and Lesnar shoves him really hard back into his seat, which moved the whole first row back. Security came down and escorted the fan out right away.
    After the match, Angle got on the mic and thanked all the fans and said that Canadian fans were the best in the world.

    After the show, by buddy told me that he knew the guy that slapped Lesnars back and we went and saw him cause he was still in the building and apparently it was set up (without Lesnars knowlede) by Brock's brother as a dare.

    Very good show. Alot better that I expected it to be. Small turnout approx. 2500 people. Kind of disappointing.

    Show opens with Sable coming out and saying that Mr. Mcmahon couldn't make it to Brandon, so he sent the next best thing...Her! As she was talking, John Cena's music hits and he comes out to a big pop. He tells Sable she's sooooo Hot! and that Brandon doesn't deserve to see her. He raps about Brandon and Canada. He says the Canadian Dollar isn’t worth anything and he wipes his ass with the Canadian flag. Funny Stuff. Chris Benoit comes out to a good pop and challenges Cena to a match, the match ends with Benoit making Cena tap to the Crippler Crossface. After the match, A-Train runs in and attacks Benoit and Bradshaw makes the save.

    Match 2: Jamie Noble over Nunzio

    Match 3: Orlando Jones over Rhyno. Rhyno missed the gore and Jones reversed it into a pin

    Match 4: Matt Hardy/Shannon Moore over Spanky and Paul Diamond. Crowd was into Hardy.

    Match 5: Bradshaw beat A-Train via close line from hell

    Match 6: Tag Title Match Los Gurerros over the Basham Brothers. Huge pops for Eddie and Chavo. Killer match. Ended with Eddie hitting the frog splash for the win.

    Match 7: WWE Cruiserweight Title Match Tajiri over Rey Mysterio after the green mist to the face followed by kick to the back of head.

    Match 8: Sable comes out and tells everyone that Mr. Mcmahon changed Nidia and Dawn Marie's match to a handi-cap match between the two of them vs. Shaniqua.

    Match 9: WWE Championship Brock Lesnar beat Kurt Angle. Match starts with Lesnar coming out to some heat followed by a huge pop for Angle. The crowd starts chanting, "you tapped out" Angle gets on the mic and says if he was hearing correctly, were they saying "you tapped out" Lesnar gets on the mic and says "he doesn't need this crap, and is leaving". Angle gets on the mic and says, “Who here in Brandon thinks Lesnar is Big Pussy?” Huge pop for that. Match ends with ref knocked out and Lesnar in the ankle lock, while in the ankle lock, Lesnar reaches for the belt and hits Angle in the head with it and then F-5's Angle for the pin. After the match, Angle gets on the mic and thanks everyone for supporting him through difficult times and says goodnight.



    Right at the end of the Lesnar/Angle match some fan pushed brock from behind. Brock turned around and pushed the guy real hard. He fell over his chair and into the second row. Security grabbed the guy and dragged him out.

    Overall it was a great show. There was roughly 3000 people there. I got to meet Matt Hardy and John Cena. Both were real cool and signed some autographs and took pictures.
