New Evolution members, HHH/mic incident, Shane/Kane, Austin vs. Jericho, more

  • The Torch Newsletter reports that during the "Goldberg going away party" on RAW a few weeks ago, Triple H stopped talking when his mic went out because he did not want the crowd to start booing due to their inability to hear his promo, even though he was totally audible to fans at home. He, of course, made this decision on his own, as he was given a signal to continue during the downtime while they set up a new mic.

  • There is a new policy in WWE where the writers want any wrestler who gets a big cut in a match to wear a bandage on the next show to help sell the injury better. This has been seen recently with Triple H and La Resistance, after their respective Unforgiven matches.

  • Rumors continue to persist that Evolution is going to get a new member or two soon to compensate for the loss of HHH. The word on who is most likely at this point are the obvious choice of Batista (upon a return) as well as Maven, although neither is confirmed as of this writing.

  • Despite its logical fit into the current RAW storyline, Wrestling-Observer Live reports that there are currently no plans for Austin to wrestle Jericho, although many in WWE are hoping that he will agree to the match at an upcoming PPV, most likely WrestleMania XX.
