"The Rundown" is the #1 movie in America, Raven opens his offical website, more

• The Rock's new movie "The Rundown" opened this weekend at #1 on the box office charts. The film, co-staring Seann William Scott & Rosario Dawson, took in $18.5 million dollars, easily beating out last week's box office champion "Underworld" which fell to 3rd place. While getting the #1 slot is very good news for the Rock, the movie did do less than the Rock's last motion picture "The Scorpion King" on it's opening weekend. Also, the movie is just under the studio's estimates for the weekend, as they expected the film to make it to $20 million. After a successful opening weekend, we'll have to see if "The Rundown" can hold onto it's position at the top of the mountain or if it will bow out to the two major movies coming out next week ("School of Rock" which is a comedy staring Jack Black, and "Out of Time" which is a suspense thriller staring Denzel Washington).
