- During his interview with David Letterman last night, The Rock hinted that he was finished with wrestling. While he didn't fully come out and say, "Yes, I'm done with pro-wrestling", it has been a possibility for some time. If the Rock is finished with wrestling, you have to wonder how the WWE will react to that, since Rock is still currently under WWE contract. Rock's statement also has to make people wonder about his possible participation in Wrestlemania 20 at Madison Square Garden next year.
- Triple H's time off has already begun, as he was taken off all the Raw house shows this weekend so he can start preparation in Vancouver for his part in "Blade: Trinity". Another person who won't be attending any house shows this weekend will be Vince McMahon. However, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Eric Bischoff are currently set to appear on the Raw-Brand show in Peoria on Sunday, and Kurt Angle will be at all of the Smackdown-Brand shows this weekend. Angle was off of last weekend's shows due to the death of his sister.
- Former multiple time WWE Hardcore Champion & former WWE Tag Team Champion Ray "Big Bossman" Traylor was backstage at the NWA-TNA PPV last night.
- Fans in Ybor City, FL can head down to the Born to Ride Saloon on Saturday night to check out an IPW Hardcore/NWA Florida Show. The main event will be former WCW superstar Kevin Sullivan taking on Abdullah the Butcher. Also on the show, former WWE superstar Mideon will square off against former ECW superstar Danny Doring.
