More Smackdown ratings news, John Cena, The Rock, plus more DVD news

  • Seems like the Ironman match failed to keep wrestling viewers interested throughout the whole match, and it seems disappointing that’s the case since the encounter between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle was the most memorable of all the Ironman match’s from the past. The final quarter rating did a 3.9, with the first three quarters doing 3.4, 3.4, 3.3.


  • UPN edited out John Cena’s comments regarding John Ritter from this week’s broadcast.


  • It’s been reported that The Rock will be appearing on Conan O’Brien next week in a continuation of his film promotion.


  • The Smackdown brand will be appearing at Madison Square Garden tonight, along with the Raw brand hosting their Unforgiven PPV tomorrow night. If you happen to attend the show, please send us a report to news@lopforums.com


  • Two WWE DVD’s are set to be on sale very soon. “WWE Bloodbath” will be a two-disc DVD featuring all of the most incredible cage matches from the past. This will be released on October 28th.


    • One month later, all Ric Flair fan’s will be able to get their hands on a special three-disc DVD, solely dedicated to the great man himself. Should be great. The date for it’s release is November 18th.
