The Rock on SNL, Spike TV ratings, Terry Funk at ROH, and more

- The Rock will be hosting Saturday Night Live's season premier, live on October 4th, on NBC. Obviously this appearance will coincide with Rock's latest new movie that has already been advertised on WWE TV this week.


- The WWE block on Spike TV's Monday night schedule finished second and third respectively in the network ratings for the week.


- Ring of Honor announced that former NWA and ECW World Champion Terry Funk will make his debut for the promotion on 9/20 in Philadelphia, PA. This coincides with the storyline that Raven and CM Punk get to choose each other's opponents, and Raven has chosen Funk.


- The infamous "screwjob" is the subject of an old classic interview that OTR host Michael Landsberg did with Vince McMahon in 1998. The interview is available online at tsn.ca/Wrestling in the Audio/Video section. If you have not seen the interview before, it's worthwhile having a look.
