Memphis Wrestling: The Home of Rhythm and Bruise

Welcome all, this is Wac, back on the best wrestling site on the internet, the Lords of Pain. Sorry for the lateness this week, as work and school has taken up a large chunk of my time lately. We are back for the 15th week of Memphis Wrestling, Live on UPN.

Show starts with footage of K-Kwik at Ike's Record store last week singing his CD for fans, as Reggie B. Fine strolls in and suprisingly beat the crap out of K-Kwik with a box of CD's and leaves him laying, while he scolds him for trying to be like him! We then get the MW and XWF intro's, as Cory Maclin and Brian Teigland run down the card for todays show.

Kevin White then comes out and gives a short interview, basically challenging Bill Dundee to a future match, he then gets in the ring for the first match of the day.

Kevin White Vs. "Indian" Tim Warcloud

White controls the match early on, hitting several armdrags and takedowns, as the crowd is solidly behind him. Warcloud then takes over with a bodyslam after he gets an eyepoke in! Warcloud continues the punishment, hitting some of his trademark "Indian Chops" and then nails a nice Michinoku Driver like move for a close two count! Warcloud then comes off the top rope, but White gets the boots up and nails him in the midsection on the way down. White knocks Warcloud down with several big right hands, and then finishes him off with that spinning reverse DDT move that Reno and Test both used. White then easily gets the 1, 2, 3.

Winner: Kevin White via Spinning Reverse DDT (Roll of the Dice/Test Drive)

We then get a WWE hype video for the upcoming WWE RAW brand houseshow thats going to be at the Pyramid in Memphis this Friday night on August 29th! The show being headlined by Jerry Lawler & Shawn Michaels Vs. Triple H & Ric Flair, as well as Kane Vs. RVD in a Steel Cage!

The MW CEO "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant comes out for an interview, and basically talks trash to Bill Dundee for becoming the XWF CEO, and actually challenges him to a match somewhere down the line. Valiant then announces that sometime in the near future, he will be announcing when Memphis Wrestling is going to go back to the Mid-South Coliseum again!!!

We then go to a office, where Bill Dundee is setting behind a desk, typing stuff on a computer, claiming it to be his XWF CEO office. He makes a match for todays show, pitting Jerry Lawler in a Handicap Match against Mabel and Reggie B. Fine! This was Lawlers punishment for throwing fire in Reggie B.'s face on last weeks show.

Jerry 'The King" Lawler then comes out for an interview, and he receives his normal huge Memphis pop! Lawler even challenges Dundee to a match in the future, making it three guys that have already challenges Dundee to a match today! Lawler talks trash to Mabel and Reggie, until finally Mabel and Reggie come out and take the mic away from Teigland, and start insulting the King, to a round of boos! Lawler makes fun of them a few more times, and the match is on for todays Main Event! Maclin then rings the bell for the next match of the day.

Flex & Reed Richardson Vs. Mr. Compulsive & Jobber

The heels controlled the majority of this match, with Mr. Compulsive suplexing Reed Richardson out of his boots for the first five minutes. Finally, Flex gets the hot tag and cleans house with right hands, until all four men end up in the ring. Richardson takes Compulsive to the outside, as the unamed jobber whips Flex off the ropes, he floats over and gets the roll-up for the 1, 2, 3!.

Winner: Flex & Reed Richardson via School Boy Roll-Up

Maclin then shows the Cyborg hype video again, this time it says he's coming to Memphis Wrestling very soon!!! We then go to "Hollywood" where Jimmy Hart and Shock are about to announce who Shocks new tag team partner will be. Hart calls Dundee and tells him that it's going to be a huge name, and they are entering the XWF Tag Team Title Tournament in September!

After a commercial, "Sweet" Georgia Brown comes out escorting the Moondogs, who are sporting little pink bows in their hair!!! She tells Maclin that they are just puppies who are misunderstood, as they crawl in the ring for the next match.

The Moondogs w/Georgia Brown Vs. Alternative Express

Son of Moondog starts the match with Andy Douglas, as the Moondog tries to do some wrestling moves, but the much quicker Douglas keeps getting away. Son of Moondog eventually puts on a sleeper, and almost chokes Douglas out with it! Moondog Spot then comes in and gets several armdrags on Chase Stevens, until he crawls outside on the apron to get patted on the head by Georgia Brown! As Moondog Spot is distracted, Stevens and Douglas nail the Son of Moondog with a double superkick, and Douglas pins him for the 1, 2 ,3!

Winner: Alternative Express via Double Superkick

After the match, Brown scolded the Moondogs all the way to the back. After the break, Maclin shows the Smash of the Week, which is the double superkick on Son of Moondog in the previous match.

We then go to some taped interviews by Doug Gilbert and Brian Christopher, where Christopher challenges Gilbert to a Loser Leaves Town Match next week, as he teases a Too Cool reunion again! Back in the studio, Mabel and Reggie B. Fine talks some more trash to Lawler before they get in the ring for today's Main Event!

    Handicap Match

Mabel & Reggie B. Fine Vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler

Mabel and Lawler start off the match, as they lock up and Mabel throws him into their corner. Reggie holds Lawler, but as Mabel charges with a clothesline, Lawler ducks and Mabel knocks Reggie off of the apron. Eventually Mabel plants Lawler with a huge bodyslam and then avalanches him in the corner. Reggie gets tagged in and punches away on Lawler, and then throws him into the corner where Mabel holds him in place again. The same result happens again, as Lawler ducks out of the way and Reggie clocks Mabel with a punch! Lawler then hits the stunner on Reggie out of nowhere and pins him, but Mabel gets back into the ring and legdrops the ref at 2, causing the automatic DQ.

    Winner: Jerry Lawler via DQ

After the match, Mabel plants Lawler with the Double handed Chokeslam (Baldo Bomb) as Mabel and Reggie taunt him. K-Kwik then runs out to make the save and run the heels to the back!

After the last break, the show comes to an end with Lawler hyping the WWE RAW houseshow that's at the Pyramid this Friday night on August 29th and says that he's going to get some of his WWE buddies to stick around and come to the Memphis Wrestling show next Saturday!!!
