STEVE CORINO TO DEFEND WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE IN HELSINKI, FINLAND SEPTEMBER 27, 2003

(NEW YORK / HELSINKI, FINLAND) - - Major League Wrestling, Inc. ("MLW") is proud to announce it has come to terms with Battleground Valhalla for an international title defense of the undisputed World Heavyweight Title - currently held by Steve Corino for September 27th in Helsinki, Finland at Baltic Brawl against the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion Shane Douglas.

Corino, currently serving a 30 day suspension from in-ring competition stated the following: "I am excited about defending the MLW World title against the first champion Shane Douglas. I am confident that I will prove that Shane's victory over me in the MLW World title tournament was because I was intimidated by The Franchise. This time I am the champion and he is the challenger and there is no way he is walking back to MLW as the World champion."
