RAW was rewritten, poor MSG houseshow ticket sales, Summerslam buyrate, more

Word is that much of Monday Night RAW was rewritten yesterday at the show. The RAW writers usually write up the show's format during the weekend. (Maybe Goldberg vs. Triple H was decided a go after the reaction received at Summerslam?)

On a WWE conference call over recent financial quarter numbers, Linda McMahon confirmed that the WWE officially owns the AWA and ECW video libraries.

The September 20th Smackdown houseshow held in Madison Square Garden in New York City only sold 1,353 tickets in its first day of sales. This was the lowest first day for the WWE in the history of wrestling at MSG!

Early estimates in the cable industries show that Summerslam numbers are down 30% in major markets. Please note these are early numbers and not official ones, for the estimates could be way off.
