Summerslam backstage notes: Vince's party, Triple H's win, and more

• The much-talked about birthday party for Vince McMahon that took place in the ring after Summerslam went off the air went entirely unplanned.
  
  
• A number of people weren't surprised at all that Triple H came out of the Elimination Chamber match the winner. But, the feeling is that if Triple H was booked to win in order to lose the title to Goldberg next month at Unforgiven, then it was fine.
  
  
• Despite reports elsewhere, Chavo Guerrero was not backstage at Summerslam last night but may show up at Smackdown in El Paso, Texas on Tuesday. Guerrero has missed the last several months with a bicep injury.
  
  
• The Arizona Diamondback players who were at Summerslam last night showed up prior to the show to meet several wrestlers. The players are big fans and got a kick out of meeting the talent.
