Ultimate Warrior's WWE return news, Sting update, Exclusive Nash/movie report, Goldberg

  • The latest word on Sting is that WWE still is interested in Sting, but talks have cooled down quite a bit as signing Sting is not the priority it was earlier this summer. He also still has a few NWA:TNA appearances left on his four-show contract, so we should be seeing him return to televised wrestling very soon, albeit not necessarily for WWE.

  • A report I've received from the set of "The Punisher", which features Kevin Nash, is that filming is underway and Thomas Jane (who plays The Punisher) has already been doing some action scenes. John Travolta, also a lead in the production, has not yet arrived, however.



  • Word has it that the Goldberg/visa issue that was brought up recently as a rumor killer to Goldberg refusing to make recent international trips was not as major as it was made out to be. Sources state that Goldberg likely could've gone, although it would've been asking him to work past the six monthly dates required on his contract, and he has every right to hold WWE to the signed deal.

  • With WrestleMania XX on the horizon, one of the many names being talked about backstage for a big return is that of The Ultimate Warrior.

    -- Right now, it seems WWE generally might be interested in bringing him back, although there are those who say it's not worth it since he would not be made a top priority on the WWE roster, which minimizes the need for bringing back someone like the Warrior.

    -- So, Warrior fans should know that his name does come up backstage, but no serious talks have occurred recently.
