Overnight Smackdown Rating, Gowen/Hardy Summerslam match off?, more

• The overnight numbers for last night's edition of WWE Smackdown are in. The show did a 4.3 overnight rating with a 7 share. Check back later today when the final number is released.
  
  
• It looks like the Zach Gowen/Matt Hardy version 1.0 match at Summerslam could be off the PPV due to the angle last night on Smackdown where Zach pretty much got his ass handed to him by Brock Lesnar. No word yet on if the WWE will still go through with the match, assign a new opponent for Hardy, or even add a completely different match in it's place.
  
  
• The WWE continues it's search for new Divas as they have signed Alexis Laree to a devlopmental contract. Laree has worked for both the Ring of Honor promotion and also NWA-TNA where she was part of Raven's Gathering group. She also works regularly on the independent scene as well. She is expected to report to OVW for training very soon.
