WWE still working on Kidman heel turn, Vince not helping show attendance, more

- It looks like the WWE is still set on turning Billy Kidman heel, despite the recent success and great matches that he has had teaming with Rey Mysterio against The World's Greatest Tag Team. At last night's Smackdown-Brand house show, Kidman attacked Mysterio after a 3-way match for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship that also featured Shannon Moore. This could mean that they are getting ready to make the planned heel turn soon on WWE TV and a singles bout between Mysterio & Kidman could definitely be on the horizon for the next Smackdown-Brand only PPV in October.

- Despite being advertised for the Smackdown-Brand house shows this weekend, Vince McMahon was not in attendance for either event. Road agents told the superstars that Vince's absence was due to problems with getting to the towns due to transportation problems and the weather. However, many people backstage weren't convinced since they believed that Vince kept himself off the show since his presence recently at Smackdown-Brand house shows have done nothing to increase attendance. It was Vince's idea that if they promoted the houses saying that Vince and Stephanie were going to appear on the card, that it would draw more people in. Unfortunately, it appears that not even Vince & Stephanie's appearances are doing much to increase the declining house show attendance.
