WWE Sunday Night Heat Results 8-17-03

The opens play for Heat & The Pyro goes off in the ring, and Maven makes his way to the ring for a one on one match.

Maven vs. Steve Fender
Fender starts by slapping Maven int eh face, Maven takes offense, and manhandles him, dropkicking him out of the ring. Fender plays possom outside and draws Maven to the ropes and knocks Maven down to regain control of the match, Fender with a big neckbreaker, then goes up top, misses and lands right on his ass, Maven back up and drops Fender with a couple elbows, then a spinning heel kick. Now Maven goes to the top, Fender moves and quickly runs over and covers Maven for a 2 count. Maven up goes to the 2nd rope and hits a flying DDT and gets the victory.

Earlier Al Snow is sitting eating breakfast with Tommy Dreamer, and Dreamer makes fun of his idea. Richards makes fun of Dreamer saying he's a fat slob and a failure, and calls Al Snow, Al Stone, Snow plays along, signalling several times that Stevie is wacko, and Victoria is on the table in big slippers saying she's godzilla. Anyway, all this leads to a match that is next, we go to break.

Wrestlemania Recall, Salt N'Pepa in 1995 introducing LT who takes on Bam Bam Bigelow and wins.

Stevie Richards vs. Tommy Dreamer
Dreamer gets a pretty good pop from the crowd, as he climbs into the ring Stevie goes on the attack. Richards off the ropes, crossbody attempt, but Dreamer catches him and hits a fallaway slam. Both men on the outside now, Dreamer sends Richards hard into the barrier. Richards back in, Victoria holds dreamers leg as he's climbing back in, Stevie drops an elbow and takes the advantage. Richards knocks down Dreamer then distracts the ref as Vicotria hits a leg drop on Dreamer. Richards messes around for a while getting his stupid hat, and then goes for a big drop and misses bad. Dreamer back up hits the Death Valley Driver but Victoria distracts the ref on the apron, so Dreamer gets up and blocks a slap by Victoria then kisses her, which leads to him turning around into a Stevie kick, Richards covers and that's it, 1,2,3.

We are treated to a video package on the making of the elimination chamber, the same one from RAW.

Last monday on Raw, Goldberg faced Ric Flair with Randy Orton playing the role of the unfair referee, helping Flair keep the figure four locked on, weakening the legs of Goldberg, then continues workign on the legs until Goldberg comes back and takes out both Flair & Orton, and Goldberg sets up for the spear, and hits Orton instead then goes over to Flair and is met with a poke in the eye, but eventually gets flair down, but HBK comes down stares down Goldberg but superkicks Orton, then Goldberg Jackhammers Flair and HBK counts the 3 count with Orton's arm.

Lugz Boot of the Week, Nash & Y2J altercation with the Scissors & the Fire Extinguisher from RAW.

Before the Next Match Jaqueline is announced as the Special referee....
Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade vs. Slater Vain & Ken Anderson
Cade starts off against Vain, and tempers flare as Vain knocks down Cade, then trash talks a little, but gets outsmarted by Cade, and Cade lays some punches in on him, then tags in Jindrak and they double team Vain in the corner. Vain runs over and tags in Anderson, who just gets leveled by Jindrak, who tags in Cade and they do a double team on Anderson where Cade whips Jindrak into Anderson, but Vain interferes and takes out Cade, so now Cade & Vain are the legal men, Vain slows the match down and then drops Cade hard on his head almost, and then locks a sleaper on but Cade gets up and out, but Vain gets him back in the sleaper and Cade picks him up and drops him, both men tag, Jindrak comes in and with multiple drop kicks takes out both men. Jindrak with the big springboard clothesline on Anderson, Cade comes in, All four men in the ring, Cade picks up Anderson and Jindrak completes their now patented finisher by Dropkicking Anderson down, and covering for the 3 count.

We go back to RAW, where Bischoff comes out and talks trash about Shane McMahon saying he would be nowhere without his last name. Jim Ross returns and says he is Sueing Bischoff for putting him in an unsafe working environment. Austin says JR won't sue him if he signs a contract to face a certain individual tonight, Bischoff thinks it's Shane McMahon, but Austin reveals it's KANE, Kane gets counted out. Bishcoff wins and is celebrating in the back when Austin tells him he has to face Shane at Summerslam, because it's in the contract he signed earlier. So Bischoff vs. Shane and Kane vs. RVD at Summerslam...

WWE Rewind, Steiner taken out by Test enabling Rico & Jackie to beat Steiner and Stacy on RAW.

Test vs. Val Venis
No Mic work for Val as he comes out second. Val starts working on the arm of Test, but Test gets out with a knee to the midsection. Test is cocky, but Val springs up, and Test grabs him, and whips him hard into the turnbuckle and keeps Val down with kicks to the back, as Test taunts Steiner with his Jumping Jacks. Test very focused is keeping Val on the mat, locks on a sleeper, but Val gets out and both men run at each other and hit a double clothesline, Test up first but Val not far behind, Val runs at Test Clotheslines him, then a big shoulder tackle followed by a spinebuster, Val covers, gets 2. Test with the thumb to the eye, and goes for the pumphandle, Val rolls over, and hits an inverted powerbomb and gets a 2 count, Val goes up top, for the money shot, Test kicks the ref into the ropes crotching Val on the top, Test goes up for the Superplex, Val knocks him down goes for the money shot, Test gets the knees up, and Test gets Val up and Hits the pumphandle slam, that should be it, but no Val kicks out at 2. Test furious that it is not over, Val takes advantage with a chokeslam, 2 count, then a few chops to Test's chest, then goes off the ropes but comes back running right into the big Boot, and that is all she wrote.

Tomorrow on RAW, Nash vs. Y2J hair vs hair & Test vs. Steiner for Stacy....
