Memphis Wrestling: The Home of Rhythm and Bruise

Welcome all, this is Wac, back on the best wrestling site on the internet, the Lords of Pain. We are back for the 14th week of Memphis Wrestling, Live on UPN.

Show starts with the MW and XWF intro's, as we go to the announce table where Cory Maclin and Brian Teigland run down today's card. They then show a video promo for the August 29th WWE RAW houseshow that's going to be at the Pyramid in Memphis, with Kane Vs. Rob Van Dam in a steel cage and Jerry Lawler & Shawn Michaels Vs. Triple H & Ric Flair are announced for that show.

Lawler then comes out for an interview with Maclin, and he hypes his WWE show, and puts over that he is finally going to be in the same ring with the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair! He then talked about Reggie B. Fine and Jimmy Hart throwing a fit about Reggie getting his brand new truck stolen last week. Lawler then shows the truck outside, and says that he found the truck for Reggie since he's a nice guy and all. Lawler then challenges Reggie to a match today, where Reggie has to beat him to get the truck back! Reggie comes out and begs for his keys back, until he finally gives in and accepts the match. Maclin then rings the bell for the first match of the day.

Alternative Express (Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas) Vs. Kevin White & Flex

White starts the match by dominating Stevens with some mat wrestling, until White and Flex both double team him with a double back toss, and Flex covers for a two count. Douglas then fights back and beats the crap out of Flex for about two or three minutes until Flex hits a desperation powerslam, as both men are down. All four men then get in the ring, and White clotheslines Stevens over the top rope and Flex plants Douglas with a military press slam, but only gets a two count! The finish came with Stevens coming off the top rope with a crossbody, but Flex caught him in mid-air, only for Douglas to chop block his legs and Stevens rolled Flex up for the 1, 2, 3!

    Winner: Alternative Express via roll-up

Maclin then shows another hype video for Cyborg, who is about ready to debut in MW. "Handsome" Jimmy Valiant then comes out and dances with the crowd, and then tells Maclin that he is going to announce sometime in the future when MW is coming back to the Mid-South Coliseum again!!! He goes on to put down Reggie B. Fine and Bill Dundee for turning on MW, and joining Jimmy Harts XWF.

Maclin then shows footage of himself tracking Dundee down in a car dealership parking lot, and he tried to get an answer to why he joined Hart and became the XWF CEO. Dundee said that he told Maclin he wanted to be the MW CEO, but Maclin chose Jimmy Valiant instead, so he decided to side with Hart. Dundee then storms off in a true heel fashion, telling Maclin that he will only talk to him when he is dressed like the "Superstar"! Back in the studio, Maclin rings the bell for the next match of the day.

    Handicap Match

Gravedigger Vs. East Coast Bad Boys

Gravedigger makes his MW debut, as he is a somewhat tall fat guy, covered from head to toe in a grim reaper like costume. The East Coast Bad Boys are two small jobbers, who get completley squashed in this match. Gravedigger no-sells everything, hits a huge double clothesline and continues pounding on both of the poor guys. The finish came with Gravedigger hitting a Catatonic on both of them and pinning them at the same time for the 1,2 ,3.

    Winner: Gravedigger via double "Catatonic"

Maclin then shows the Smash of the Week, which is Douglas chop blocking Flexs legs and Stevens rolling him up from earlier in the show. We then go to a taped promo, where Doug Gilbert talks trash to Brian Christopher, showing parts of their Coliseum match and he tells Christopher that he is not done with him yet, in what was a really intense promo by Gilbert. We then go to a taped promo by Christopher, where he is listening to K-Kwiks CD. He hints at a WWE return, saying that it is time to reunite Too Cool with Scotty 2 Hotty and Rikishi! He then challenges Doug Gilbert to a "Loser Leaves Town Match", further proving that Gilbert will go over, and Christopher might be heading back up to the WWE!

Maclin then tells us that due to SEC Football this fall, Memphis Wrestling will come on at 10:30 a.m., instead of 11a.m like it has been. K-Kwik then comes out for an interview, where he puts over his new CD, and tells everybody he's ready for some action today, as the crowd gives him a really good pop!

After break, they hype the WWE RAW houseshow at the Pyramid on Aug. 29th again, as Maclin then rings the bell for the next match.

    K-Kwik Vs. Mr. Compulsive

Kwik quickly hits a headscissors to take Compulsive down, but Compulsive comes right back to hit a spinebuster and then controls the whole match right up until the end. He hits a suplex, then gets in a eyerake, and continues to pound away on Kwik, getting several nearfalls. The tide turns though when Compulsive whips Kwik off the ropes, ducks his head and gets caught with the scissor kick! He then does a flip, does the splits to avoid a clothesline, and nails a sidekick for a close two count! He then finishes Compulsive off with his reverse sit-out suplex for the 1, 2, 3!

    Winner: K-Kwik via Reverse Suplex

We then go to another taped promo, where Jimmy Hart and Shock are standing in front of a wall that has the following list. 1. Buff Bagwell 2. Konnan 3. Rick Stiener 4. Jeff Jarrett 5. Raven. Hart says that in September, their holding a Tournament to crown brand new XWF Tag Team Champions, and that Shock needs a tag partner. Shock goes through the list, until he marks all of them out, and then whispers into Harts ear who he thinks would be the perfect parnter! Hart then gets on his cell phone to call Bill Dundee, and tell him about this mysterious guy that Shock wants as his tag partner.

Back in the studio, Maclin welcomes out "Sweet" Georgia Brown, as she says it's good to finally be back in Memphis Wrestling, and that she has been doing music videos for fifty cent and snoop dog. They then cut to Moondog Spot, who is outside the building, trying to get in! Brown says that she thinks he's cute and just misunderstood! As Brown goes to let the Moondogs in, Maclin rings the bell for today's MAIN EVENT!

Winner gets keys to the 2004 GMC Denali

Jerry "The King" Lawler Vs. Reggie B. Fine

Lawler pounds away on Reggie with right hands and clotheslines, as Reggie whines and complains like only he can! Fine finally gets in a few punches to take Lawler off his feet, and then trys to get the keys from Maclin at ringside! Lawler then sucker punches Reggie and rolls him back in the ring to continue the beating. He gets a headlock takedown, and follows that up with his standing fist drop for a close two count. As the refs back is turned, Reggie pulls out a chain and clocks Lawler with it, and then puts the boots to the King! Reggie gets several two counts, but then accidentaly knocks out the ref with a punch as Lawler ducked out of the way! They fight back and forth for a few minutes, until finally Lawler lights up Reggie with the fireball and the ref comes too just in time, to count the 1, 2, 3!

Winner: Jerry Lawler via Fireball to the Face

After the match, Mabel runs in and plants Lawler with his double sit-out chokeslam (Baldo Bomb) and then challenges Lawler to a "Last Man Standing Match" at their show in Somerville, Tennessee tonight.

After the last commercial break, Lawler crawls to the corner and tells Maclin that since he just beat Reggie and he won the Denali, he is going to give the keys to Maclin because he's a good friend of his, he then accepts Mabels challenge as well. The show then comes to and end, with "Sweet" Georgia Brown coming out with the Moondogs, patting them on the head as they were really excited to be alongside her!
