  (ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA) - - World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino in his latest attempt to take out Terry Funk before a future bid for the World Championship has issued the following statement:
  
  "Terry Funk thought he was real smart when he signed the contract to challenge me, Steve Corino, for the MLW World heavyweight championship on August 22nd in St. Petersburg, FL. Well, old man, I am the smart one. Because you had to be a "man" and throw a beer, which you probably had 30 of before the signing, in my face and somehow I NEVER signed the contract.
  
  So, Terry Funk, that means NO World title match for you. Not today, not August 22nd, and if I have my way NEVER again will you challenge for the World title.
  
  But, being the MLW World heavyweight champion and the God of Pro Wrestling, The Extreme Horsemen didn't want our fans to go home unhappy so I have decided to send a second bounty hunter after Terry Funk. This man is a former World heavyweight champion and a true legend in pro wrestling (unlike you Funk) and that man is........JERRY THE KING LAWLER!
  
  And fans if you think you are going to see the same funnyman that you see on Monday nights you are sadly mistaken. You are going to see a man that hates Terry Funk as much as I do. MLW fans get ready for the old Jerry Lawler to invade St. Petersburg and collect the bounty.
