Coachman's announcing, Rock update, HHH vs. Goldberg houseshow results, and more

At last week's RAW, it was very much agreed upon within the WWE that Johnathan Coachman's announcing performance was "pretty bad" and that he'll need to step it up tonight in Los Angeles. Ross will sell the burning injury until Summerslam.

Continuing the story, the Rock still hasn't been written into tonight's RAW.

In last night's first head to head encounter, Triple H defeated Bill Goldberg at the San Jose, CA houseshow. HHH won via interference and help from Ric Flair and Randy Orton. The match was said to be "OK" and that both wrestlers will need to work more together to prepare for their Summerslam encounter. In most cases, houseshow matches are booked as a way to work out the kinks between each other in preparation for the big PPV match.

The WWE has cancelled their Smackdown brand Monday houseshow in Kamloops, British Columbia on August 4th. Ticket buyers can receive full refunds.
