The following are re-written news highlights from an interview with Kevin Nash on WWE.com:
Kevin Nash got into a WWE ring for the first time since being injured on July 9th, last night at Royal Rumble. Nash worked with a couple WWE superstars in some light in-ring workouts prior to the doors opening to let the fans in the arena.
Nash told WWE.com he felt it was a cross between a psychological and physical battle as far as what is preventing him from wrestling. He said it's only about 10 percent physical, and 90 percent psychological. Nash said he'll continue to follow HHH's lead in advice on how to return from the torn quadriceps injury, and tonight was the "first baby step" in doing so.
Kevin Nash weighed himself today and came in at 298 pounds, down from the last time he was on WWE television which was when he weighed 327 pounds. The 298 number is the lowest Nash has weighed in 15 years.
Last word Nash received from Dr. James Andrews is that he is only eight to ten weeks away from returning, which would allow him to work WrestleMania exactly 10 weeks from yesterday.
Nash told WWE.com that he would be at No Way Out in Montreal next month, as well as WrestleMania in Seattle in March. Nash said the difference is, he'll be in his gear for WrestleMania.
