Royal Rumble Changes, Mick Foley/WWE, Roddy Piper On NWA-TNA Submitted by Matthew Boone on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 4:35 PM EST
Mick Foley took part in a Q&A session at the SuperSkate celebrity hockey game last weekend in New York. Foley said he is impressed most with Kurt Angle and John Cena in WWE lately. He said that if Cena is writing his raps he performs during the shows, then he has quite a talent.
Roddy Piper will be on next week's NWA-TNA pay-per view. Apparently, it's not going to be a live appearance. Instead, TNA will air a taped segment with Piper likely going off more on Russo.
OVW shot an angle at last night's syndicated television tapings getting Damaja out of the Royal Rumble. Earlier in the year, Damaja won a match in OVW that granted him the entry into this year's Royal Rumble, but due to changes in WWE's booking plans, he will not be featured in the annual classic.
