With Sullivan still in the corner Sting runs and jumps from across the ring squashing Sullivan with the Stinger splash. As Sullivan collapses on the mat, Sting wastes no time in locking in the Scorpion Death Lock for a very easy trademark Sting Submission victory!

    Winner: Sting via submission

    WCW This Week:

Schiavone with "The Nature Boy" Buddy Landell who talks about veterans such as himself and the Fabulous Freebirds having much more experience than the likes of JYD, Luger etc. The experienced guys are the ones to beat.

Mean Mark Calloway comes in with Paul E Dangerously. Paul challenges anyone from the locker room to take on Mark in a match up.

The Fabulous Freebirds come in with Buddy Lee. They promised The Southern Boys they would beat them, and they did. Now they want them out of Pro-wrestling for good!

    Next Week:
Big Van Vader, Larry Zbyshko in action. The first look at The Nasty Boys, plus an interview with The Black Scorpion!

Schiavone and Dirty Dutch wrap up for this week with Sid Vicious stood with them once again who tells Sting he's coming after him for the belt.

    That's it this week.

    Rappion's Notes:
A couple of great match ups this week. The hot opener was a great surprise, pitting 2 top tag teams against each other.

Hector Guerrero had the family resemblence to Eddie and Chavo, although he had a very European tactical wrestling style. Maybe someone can tell me if they are indeed related?

If Mark Kyle were in WWE today he would get louder "Shave Your Back!" chants than Prince/Albert/A-Train.

Despite promising us an "exciting" match, Sting's match at the end was the shortest and most one sided of the night. Purely an opportunity for the crowd to cheer and try and touch his hand as he ran round the ring before the start and also as a showcase for The Stinger Splash and The Scorpion Deathlock. Anyone who's ever seen a Sting (Mark 1) match in the early 90's will know how those 2 moves go together just as naturally as the Rock Bottom and The People's Elbow do in the WWE when the Rock competes.

Great to see alot of tag team action this week. Schiavone and Mantell spent alot of their time talking about "The Black Scorpion" who was a masked, hooded wrestler who entered WCW and challenged Sting to a match. Coming at the same time as Sting was heavily involved in his long standing feud with the Horsemen, it was questioned if The Black Scorpion was in fact a member of The Horsemen in disguise.

That's all I've got to say this week. If anyone has any feedback good or bad about this report then I'd love to hear from you as always.

    See you next week!
