Bischoff's future, Notes from Raw Anniversary show Submitted by William Martinez on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at 1:49 PM EST
For those that have been wondering what would happen to Eric Bischoff if Shane McMahon took over Raw, Bischoff's deal with WWE is open-ended meaning he could leave at any time but the more likely scenario is that he would be placed with a different on-screen role.
The general feeling within WWE is that The Rock's promo at last night's Raw 10th Anniversary show was not his best work. Obviously, the fact that he was treated as a heel by fans in attendance didn't help the promo either.
Gene Okerlund had announced that Bobby Heenan would be at The World last night for the show but obviously, he didn't make an appearance. In fact, Heenan wasn't even in the building. No word as of yet why Heenan wasn't there.
Reportedly, Vince McMahon's speech where he accepted the Raw Superstar of the Decade on behalf of Steve Austin was the start of Austin's return angle.
