  • From all accounts, it seems as though Hulk Hogan turned down the offer to work the Wrestle-1 show at the Tokyo Dome this Sunday night. He was at a press conference and did hype it up, but it's 99 percent likely he won't work the card.

Matches expected to be announced for the show include:

-Goldberg & Keji Mutoh vs. Yoshihiro Takayama & Shinya Hashimoto
-Mark Coleman & Kevin Randleman vs. Giant Singh & Jan "The Giant" Nortje
-Abdullah the Butcher vs. Masaaki Satake
    -Bob Sapp vs. Ernesto Hoost
-Satoshi Kojima & Hiroshi Hase vs. Terry Funk & Heath Herring

  • Yoshihiro Takayama said he will be defending his NWF Heavyweight Championship at the New Japan show on February 16th at the Tokyo Dome. He mentioned that Masahiro Chono has been talked about as his challenger, but would like to see a rematch between Chono and Young Generation tournament winner Ryushi Yanagisawa to determine who the challenger will be.

  • Keji Mutoh defeated Mike Awesome to retain the Triple Crown during the All Japan show in Osaka yesterday. Shinya Hashimoto came out to challenge Mutoh for the title, which triggered Mutoh to blow the mist in his eyes. From there a big brawl broke out between the All Japan wrestlers and Zero-One wrestlers. It looks as though they are going to set up some high-caliber matches over the new several months including Satoshi Kojima against Shinya Hashimoto, as well as Toshiaki Kawada.
