As we reported a week ago, Shawn Michaels is feeling the effects from his last match with Triple H at Armageddon a lot more than his previous three matches. As a result, Michaels will likely miss his scheduled house show dates to allow his body to recover in time for the Royal Rumble in less than a week, and an inevitable bout at WrestleMania in March. While he won't compete in the house show dates he's scheduled for, it's likely he will still make the appearance. At a recent WWE house show in Honolulu, Michaels did a run-in and super-kicked Triple H.
WWE continues to break the rules of the brand extension if they feel it will help their cascading attendance at non-televised events. The latest example is Rey Mysterio being scheduled for a February 9th RAW house show because it will be in his hometown of San Diego, California. On a similar note, Rey Mysterio is on target to return to in-ring action in about a week.
