  • Corehard Jalin sent in the following:

    Spike Dudley vs Rico
The crowd was all over Rico. Nice action from both. Spike eventually wins via the Acid Drop/Dudley Dog.
    Winner: Spike

    Hurricane vs Sean O'Haire
This was my first time actually seeing Sean O'Haire. Eh. Nothing spectacular here though. O'Haire wins by pulling Helms' tights in a rollup.
    Winner: Sean O'Haire

    Tommy Dreamer vs Christian
This was basically comic relief. Christian gets on the mic and starts ripping on the fans, and says he can kick anyone sitting in the crowd's ass. So Dreamer leaves the ring, hops into the front row, and takes a seat in the crowd, then says "Christian sucks!". As for the actual match, it was pretty much back and forth. Christian uses the ropes to eventually get a pinfall.
    Winner: Christian

    Rob Van Dam vs Bautista
Big pop for RVD. Standard match from both, with each hitting their usual stuff. Bautista gets RVD up for the sit-down powerbomb, but RVD rolls down his back and gets a victory roll for the win. Afterwards, Bautista delivers two sit-down powerbombs. The second one gets botched though, but luckily he caught RVD before he could get dropped on his head.
    Winner: Rob Van Dam

    Tag Team Title Match
Lance Storm and William Regal vs The Dudley Boys
This match had the most crowd participation out of the entire card. Regal and Storm try to leave the match before it starts, but then Bubba gets on the mic and talks trash about England and Canada, then gives them two choices, "Either leave now, or get in the ring and get a good ol' fashioned American ass-kicking." Regal and Storm keep going towards the back, so Bubba and D-Von go after them and bring them to the ring. Dudleys dominate early on, then Regal and Storm dominate. Regal eventually scores the pinfall on Bubba after Storm hits Bubba with one of the title belts. After the match, Regal and Storm continue to beat on Bubba and D-Von, and they bring a table into the ring. Silly bastards. Just as they're about to put D-Von through the table, Spike comes out and saves the day....until he gets thrown (yes, thrown) by Storm to the outside. D-Von recovers, and they put Storm through the table with a REAL 3-D, not that reverse neckbreaker shit. Big pop for all three Dudleys. Winners: Storm and Regal

    Intermission

    Fatal Fourway Women's Title Match
Molly Holly vs Jacquelyn vs Victoria vs Trish Stratus
Despite being a fourway, it starts out really as a tag match with Trish and Jackie beating on Victoria and Molly (and vice versa). Trish hits her usual spots, until Val Ven....I mean, Sean Morley interferes with Trish. Victoria eventually gets a pinfall on someone.
    Winner: Victoria

    Christopher Nowinski vs Maven
Yawn. These two are so generic. Maven wins with a flying dropkick.
    Winner: Maven

Kane vs Rosey w/ Rico (I think)
Rico has some insane heat going tonight. Kane gets a big pop. Pretty typical stuff until Rico jumps up on the apron (for the third time) and gets chokeslammed into the ring. Rosey then hits his variation of the Samoan Drop, but Kane kicks out. He eventually hits the choke slam, and it's over.
    Winner: Kane

Fink introduces Stacy, who then introduces "Someone who loves all of his testicules". Test comes out, and Stacy tells him to go to the corner. She asks for some music, and proceeds to give him a lap dance....but gets interrupted by D'Lo Brown's music.

D'Lo Brown vs Test w/ Stacy
I was looking at Stacy for about the entire match. D'Lo does the usual 'chase the hot valet' thing, and then gets caught by Test. D'Lo hits the Sky High, and Test hits the Pumphandle Powerslam, both get two counts. Test eventually kicks D'Lo's head off with a big boot.
Winner: Test (and me for getting to see Stacy bend over live.)

    Main Event

    Scott Steiner vs Triple H
Earl Hebner is the referee for this match, and he gets a pretty good pop. Both get good reactions from the crowd. Before the match started, Triple H gets on the mic and tells a kid wearing a Hurricane t-shirt to sit his ass down. The guy takes his shirt off and waives Triple H to him, but Triple H says "Remember kid, the Hurricane might blow, but you suck.". As for the actual match, it was pretty slow-going. Both hit their usual moves, but when Triple H whips Steiner into the ropes for his jumping knee, Steiner trips and falls through the ropes, which looked pretty damn scary. Good thing he caught himself a little on the bottom rope. Triple H had been knocking Hebner away, but finally he pushes him into the ropes, causing Hebner to rush back and push Triple H down. Hebner totally flips out, and starts screaming at Triple H (who is now down on the ground crawling back to the corner). Pretty funny. Bautista eventually comes to the ring, and distracts Hebner. Triple H hits the ! Pedigree, but Bautista is still distracting Hebner, and when he finally gets back to the match, Steiner manages to kick out at a 2 count. The Game gets pissed, and calls Bautista in. Hebner tries to stand in his away, but gets thrown across the ring. Bautista and Mr. Monopoly start beating on Steiner, so Hebner calls for the bell. The beatdown continues until RVD comes down, and together, him and Steiner clean house. Bautista ends up on the mat about 3/4 of the way across the ring. Steiner points towards the closer turnbuckle, but RVD points at the one further away. RVD jumps up to the top, and hits the Five Star Frog Splash. Steiner and RVD celebrate in the ring, then Steiner snatches the World title from Triple H (actually he tries to, but drops it in the ring). Steiner tells Triple H to come into the ring and get his belt, but Triple H and Bautista back down, and leave. Steiner does the usual "Holla if ya hear me" schtick, and he and RVD continue to celebrate.
    Winner: Steiner via DQ

Overall: Not bad. I paid 15$, but we were still able to move up closer to the ring. There wasn't really a great match on the entire card, but still, they were solid matches that kept everyone into it. The exception was Nowinski/Maven, which the crowd was pretty dead for. I was disappointed that Jericho, Booker T, and Goldust weren't there, but it was still a good show.
