More Details On Goldberg's Meeting With Vince McMahon

Bill Goldberg and Vince McMahon met last Wednesday (1-8-03) at a Los Angeles area hotel and talked about "everything you would think we'd have talked about."

"Step one is complete," said the former WCW World Champion, who spent this past weekend in Florida. He first made a charity appearance with Rick Steiner at The Angelus House, then watched first-hand as Tampa Bay destroyed San Francisco, 31-6, in the NFL playoffs.

Goldberg would not discuss specifics of his conversation with McMahon. He did, though, say it was positive and productive.

"It was good to finally sit down and talk with him after so long," Goldberg said. "It was a philosophical meeting, a meeting of the minds."

What's next?

"Now the ball is in the WWE's court," Goldberg said.
