Reader Ben Johnson sent in the following recap:
- Bret Hart was on WrestlingObserver Live Sunday night. Here are some notes from the show:
- Stated that the stroke weakened him emotionally and physically. He has since recovered but still is not 100%.
- He's currently preparing to publish a trilogy book series. The first two are nearly complete and he will be working on the third book soon.
- He was very disappointed with Hulk Hogan's book and felt it didn't tell a good in-depth story. Jokes that his upcoming books will tell fans more about Hogan's career than Hogan's book does.
- Bret was told years ago that he'd have access to his tape/photo library, but that decision was reversed just a week later. However, during his meeting with Vince in Florida, he did gain ownership of his photo library.
- He wants to put clips of his performance on a DVD about his career.
- He isn't looking to come back to WWE, but wants to be remembered for all he did in wrestling. He's upset that he didn't have a good bye speech to fans in WWE.
- Vince has offered him a return deal and Bret is not totally against appearing one last time. However, he is against being part of any storyline.
- He and Vince have buried the hatchet.
- Shoots down rumors that Owen Hart hated wrestling. He admits that Owen was never a fan of the travel involved, but feels he had a great time working for WWE and had many friends backstage.
