    Uncasville, CT (Mohegan Sun) 6-23-03
    Alex Obert

Tony Chimmel first came out and announced to the crowd that due to leg injury, Brock Lesnar won't be able to make the show tonight to HUGE heat. He also mentioned that it will now be a 3 on 1 handicap match featuring Charlie Hass(heat),Shelton Benjamin(heat), and the Big Show(mixed) taking on Kurt Angle(pops). But, he also says that Kurt Angle can find a replacement partner by the end of the night

After that announcement, Sable's music hits to pops and she is the announcer for the next match. She introduces Dawn Marie as the Special Guest Referee to mostly pops. Sable then introduces Nidia to mostly heat. Sable then introduces Torrie to a BIG pop. The match then begins with Dawn suprisingly doing normal counts for Nidia, but she put Nidia's foot on the rope when Torrie was pinning Nidia. Match ends when Torrie rolls up Nidia for the 1-2-3.
    Winner:Torrie Wilson

After the match, Sable, Dawn Marie, and Nidia all attack Torrie until Torrie strikes back with a double clothesline, Torrie then pulls down Sable's shorts and Sable runs out covering her thong.

Next match features Rikishi and Rhyno taking on the FBI(Stamboli and Palumbo) accompanied by Nunzio. Rikishi and Rhyno get good pops. FBI doesn't get much but if anything, it was heat. FBI leaves in the middle and almost gets counted out but runs in before 10. Match finishes when Rhyno gores Stamboli and Rikishi sits on Palumbo for the pin.
    Winners: Rikishi and Rhyno

Post-match, Nunzio gets in the ring complaining to Rikishi but then gets a stinkface for his efforts. The FBI then leaves to boos. Then, Rikishi gets Rhyno to dance, but he doesn't seem to want to. Rikishi gets two kids into the ring to dance and then Rhyno dances with them and it was funny. The dance segment got some great pops like always.

Next match saw a rematch from Smackdown featuring Billy Gunn with Torrie taking on Jamie Noble with Nidia. Some comedy spots by Billy by going onto his knees making fun of Nobles size. And Noble couldn't reach Gunn's hands when they were going to lock-up. LOL. Anyways, Noble got in more offense than Thursday, but Gunn eventually won with the Fameasser.
    Winner: Billy Gunn

Post-Match: Torrie and Nidia get into a short cat fight before Gunn gets Torrie out of it. Torrie then pulls down the rear part of her shorts revealing her ass to the crowd with a lot of flashing lights(cameras) and pops.

The next match featured rookie Orlando Jordan taking on John Cena. Jordan came out to a few pops but not much, he then gets on the mic and lets the crowd know who he is and that he wants to kick some butt in the WWE. Cena then comes out to some good pops, suprisingly. He then disses CT by dissing the Uconn Huskies to some good heat. Match was OK, but a lot of BORING chants. Match ends with Jordan hitting a top-rope crossbody, but getting it reversed by Cena for the 1-2-3.
    Winner: John Cena

The following match for the tag titles, first has A-Train coming out to heat, and just like on Velocity he is angry again by going back and forth from the ropes, throwing chairs into the ring, running into the steps. His tag partner, Sean O' Haire, comes out next to small heat. Eddie and Tajiri then come out together, to some great pops, but no car :-(. Small Shave Your Back chants to A-Train. Great match with O'Haire and A-Train getting in a lot of offense including the Train Wreck, or Derailer, or w/e the Baldo Bomb is now called. Match ends with Eddie knocking O'Haire to the outside and Tajiri then spitting the green mist into A-Train's face. Frog Splash by Eddie finishes and he and Tajiri retain the titles. Best match on the card so far.
Winners and STILL tag champs: Eddie and Tajiri

Post match: Eddie and Tajiri leave to good pops. A-Train and Sean O' Haire are in the ring but then leave to the back. Funny part is that A-Train wipes the green mist off on some guy who works there's shirt. I don't think it was planned. The worker was then handed a towel.

Tony Chimmel comes back and announces there will be a 15 minute intermission where I went to get a drink and some popcorn though the popcorn was in a drink cup with a drink cover. LOL. The intermission seemed more than 15 minutes though. After intermission, a winner is announced for a JVC Tower Of Power who was sitting in Section 25, but I forgot the rest.

The following is a cruiserweight tag match with Crash and Shannon coming out together to Shannon's music to a few boos. Spanky and Billy Kidman then come out together to Kidman's music, though I'm surprised why Kidman didn't get a lot of pops for coming back, Kidman now has a sharp new haircut. Good cruiserweight action but the fans weren't really into it. Match ends when Kidman hits a Razor's Edge type move though I'm disappointed for there being no SSP.
    Winners: Billy Kidman and Spanky.

Post Match: Kidman and Spanky then leave with Spanky trying to get Kidman to high five him but he jokingly ignores it, Spanky tries again, but same thing, Kidman then smiles, pats him on the back and they then leave. Shannon and Crash are still in the ring and they do a strange thing with holding the Hardy's Book.

Cruiserweight Title is on the line next with champion Rey Mysterio defending against former champ: Matt Hardy Version 1.0

Hardy first comes out to some good pops, surprisingly, with some people giving the Mattitude symbol. Rey then comes out to a BIG pop, but he didn't jump like normal
:-( Just like the tag title match, this match was also great. When Matt looked @ my section I gave the Mattitude symbol and I held up the WWE mag w/ his pic on it. I think he saw it and smiled. Great cruiserweight action by Rey-Rey here. Hardy hits the side effect but missed the TOF. He hit Rey with the belt when the ref's back was turned, but Rey kicked out. Match ends with Mysterio nailing the 619 and a leg drop from the top rope for the 3 count.
Winner and STILL cruiserweight champ: Rey Mysterio

MAIN EVENT: Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Hass, and Big Show taking on Kurt Angle (Alone or with mystery partner.)

Hass and Benjamin come out to a lot of heat, but generic music, not the new music heard on Thursday. Big Show then comes out to some good pops. Angle then comes out to a HUGE pop with the crowd totally chanting You Suck! Before the match starts, Benoit's music hits to another HUGE pop and he is Kurt Angle's tag partner. They seem to be on the same page even after a long rivalry. Some comedy spots include Big Show pushing Hass and Benjamin around, Angle throwing Benjamin into the ropes, but Angle going as well, Angle escapes, but Benjamin is still going back and forth. The other funny part is Angle grabbing Show's balls and squeezing them. Angle eventually Angle Slams Big Show to a big pop, though it has been done on TV before. Benoit then gets on top and nails a top-rope headbutt onto Big Show. Angle eventually applies the Angle Lock to Hass for the submission victory.
Winners: Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle

Post-Match: Benjamin and Hass leave the ring and Big Show is about to. Angle calls Big Show back in and Angle wants to have some fun. Angle first apoligizes for grabbing Show's balls. Angle admits that Show had some big balls. Angle then has him, Benoit, and the Big Show do some impressions. Angle first does an impression of the Big Show with his hand in the air growling. LOL. Angle then encourages Show to do his Hulk Hogan impression which he does great. He also does a Fat Bastard impression which has Benoit being Mini-Me. Angle then asks the fans who the best technical wrestler is: Benoit(big pops), himself (same), or the Big Show LOL. Angle then encourages Benoit to tap his ass. Angle gets the crowd cheering tap that ass which Benoit finally does. That segment was very funny with a lot of joking around.

    Notes:

I honestly think Orlando Jordan has a big heart and that he will make it big in the WWE someday.

When Cena was out I cheered him, even during his rap which caused the fans to turn on him while he dissed the Uconn Huskies. I also gave the Word Life symbol everytime he looked @ my section.

I seriously thought that Undertaker would be Lesnar's replacement. I didn't think it would be Benoit, but that was a great choice.

During the Benoit, Angle, Big Show segment, Angle got the crowd to chant USA which worked.

I really think Angle is great on the mic and Jericho is the best on RAW and Angle is the best on Smackdown, but The Rock is also one of the best.

All in all, a great show, and I got my seats @ the LAST second (I'm not joking). But, I got a good view from where I was. The top blue seat section was completely empty. I hope the WWE comes back to CT soon.

    Biggest Pops:
    1. Kurt Angle/End Segment
    2. Chris Benoit
    3. Rey Mysterio/Dance Segment
    4. Rikishi
    5. Torrie Wilson/Eddie and Tajiri

    Most Heat:
    1. Charlie Hass and Shelton Benjamin
    2. Tony Chimmel saying that Brock won't be able to comptete due to injury
    3. John Cena after dissing the Huskies
    4. A-Train
    5. Sean O' Haire/ FBI
