Smackdown locker room unhappy, Kane unmasking a ratings success, more

  • Lately, more and more Smackdown wrestlers have been unhappy with how management is using them and they are becoming more vocal about it as well. Agents and the creative team have bore the brunt of the complaints with few, if any, going to Vince McMahon himself. The general feeling is that McMahon is spending all his energy on the Mr. America/Zack Gowen/Stephanie McMahon storyline.

  • Despite a lower than expected Raw rating this week, the show's overrun, featuring the unmasking of Kane, did a strong 5.0.

  • In addition to Chuck Zito and Kenzo Suzuki, former Mean Street Posse member Pete Gas was in attendance at last night's Smackdown tapings as well. Prior to the show, Gas visited with crew members and posed for pictures with the fans in attendance.

  • Despite living in the New York area, Paul Heyman was not at either Raw or Smackdown this week. Reports have been circulating that WWE is interested in bringing back his on-air character.

  • For those of you who missed the WWE edition of HBO's Real Sports last night, a listing of the episode's replays can be found by clicking HERE.
